oh. my. goodness. there are no words for the experience we had here. the location was absolutely beautiful with all the different weather, snow, rain, tornadoes!!! there are so many trails to ride here, come on bring them them ATVS!!!! Kevin and Ashley were above and beyond helpful through everything!!! great people!!! absolutely loved it here, hope to be back!!!

Juat a peaceful, beautiful, calm, relaxing place to unwind, have some good food, soak in the hotub, enjoy nature, go for a walk, see the fireflies, You name it. If you work to much oike my wifw and I and need a place to reat and unwind and destress, look no further. Thank you for Hosting us, G+P

I stayed here for work. I got excellent sleep during my stay. The area is peaceful and private. It was a fantastic place for my dogs. The grill and picnic table were a must on my days off.

It was mostly rainy during our stay however that didn’t stop us from having fun. Our kiddos learned to kayak, loved playing in the sand at the beach, fished and loved “swimming” in the hot tub. We can’t wait to check out the other cabins. It was nice that phone service did not work well but the WiFi was good enough for emergencies and checking in on the world but not good enough that the kids wanted to spend their time on their devices. We will be back!

We had a lovely girls weekend at Cabin A. It was cozy, comfy and the surroundings were beautiful and the perfect backdrop to a restful and relaxing weekend. We will be back!

The property is beautiful. The home is exquisite. The only thing we would’ve like to have seen was recommendation for food in town. We’ll be back on our way to Mississippi! Absolutely lovely experience and the host was very friendly and responsive.

The place was nice and had a wonderful view of the lake. It has a screened in porch to hang out in. We went the week before it was fully staffed so most activities and meals were not available to us - which we were not aware of before arriving. There were still enough things to do. Manager was kind and accommodating and took time to give us a boat ride. We had awful storms one night and they had a good safety plan and management was helpful. Pros: had plenty of dishes, pans, utensils, towels. The queen bed was comfy and full size kitchen equipment was nice to have. Cons: the bunk beds are not great for adults with pain/back issues. There was no extra bedding (but we didn’t ask for any so that may be an option). Roads are rutted out so my low profile car had come issues driving in and out. We would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful stay at this cute cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful and very private. It is close to town and places to hike and sight see. Highly recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We celebrated our Mother’s Day here over the weekend. My mom, her husband, my husband, our daughter, Ava, and our small dog Jax. The kitchen had everything you could need. All of the bedrooms, bathrooms, and rec room were spotless. The surroundings of the house are simply beautiful. It is a short drive to the Little town of Kimswick, where they usually have many festivals, and Grant Farm, which we both enjoyed. it was a wonderful first Mother’s Day. we can’t thank Leslie enough for providing such a wonderful place to stay! The walking trails, play ground and fire pit are also a huge plus.

We loved the quiet, beautiful neighborhood; we loved learning the history of the home as well as the history of the area (we even got a fantastic rundown of the Battle of Pilot Knob by your local visitor center curator!); we loved Elephant Rocks, Caledonia, and Johnson’s Shut-Ins; and we loved our family movie nights in your family room. A nice cabin in a beautiful setting. Great location if you like a location that is tucked away and peaceful. The cabin itself is set up very nicely and the host was very thoughtful to ensure you are comfortable during your stay with their accommodations and amenities.

This was a great find for us. It was a grandson trip so he thought the place was really awesome. We did too. It’s smaller but had all we needed. Perfect. Lots of great discounts coupons to local establishments. Hostess was always handy to check on us. And quick to respond with any questions. Would definitely stay again. 100% satisfied.

The cabin was perfect for what we needed. We ordered fire wood and Justin had it waiting when we arrived:) My only warning is of the train pull off, with younger kids they got very scared the first time, it gets loud and clanky. But after the intial scare, it was fine and had no problems sleeping through the night. Beds are very comfy.

We really appreciated the clear directions on how to get to the location, which is a little tricky to see in the dark. The location and view from the porch is beautiful! I wish it wouldn’t have been raining and we had more time to explore. Would definitely stay again :)

Location was great Michael was very nice and responded asap to any questions that I had . Looking forward to next year . .

The house was as expected from the pictures. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable and sheets were soft. The bath towels were very nice. Really enjoyed the trails behind the house to walk with the kids and dogs. House was very nicely decorated and the kids liked laying on the fluffy rug in the bunk room. We did not use the gazebo but would be very nice to sit around and talk around the fire if we would’ve had time. Highly recommend.

Great and peaceful stay

Great stay in Cadet! It was comfortable, the playground for the kids made the weekend so easy! A fire in the evening for s'mores, lounge chairs to relax, and a close walk to the creek. Host was responsive when I had a question. We would definitely stay again

The checkin was easy, house was clean and tidy. Kitchen had everything needed. Perfect location for peace and quiet and close to the river. Would definitely come back and recommend.

It was very clean when we arrived and we really enjoyed our stay! The dogs loved it and it was very peaceful! we will be back!
