It was a perfect weekend stay. I have absolutely negative to say about the cabin or our time in the area. 10:10 would rent again in a heartbeat. cute and cozy. thank you for sharing and providing affordable air bnb stays.

We had a good weekend my wife and I went there for our anniversary. Had a good time by ourselves playing shuffleboard and pool watching movies place was tidy and clean. Joni was very helpful. We were two hours early and she let us check in early. Only downside was the thermostat kept getting turned up to 77 or 83 had to keep turning it down.

My family rented 2 cabins on the property, it was perfect for a weekend of outdoor adventures in the country! The cabins were comfy and clean, the property was fun and easy to navigate, Jessica was an exceptional host. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views, golf carting, river access, many dips in the hot tub, and that they offer floating directly from the property.

We had a large group and the place was perfect for what we needed! Look forward to visiting again next time we are in Steelville to float!

My friends and I enjoyed our stay here, we would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family, and will come back in he future. The privacy this cabin offers while close to civilization and also the river, it's like they say in real estate: location location location. Jessica provided the fire wood, thank you, we had a great time sitting by the fire pit and watching the sun set, then the stars, and almost the sun rise. In the kitchen everything was so well organized, we found what we needed like we were at home. The linens smelled crisp , beds were so comfortable, the shower had hot steaming water, the jacuzzi we didn't even go in, but Jessica made sure she changed the water and was ready for us to enjoy, everything was just perfect. It's really easy to have a great time when the accommodations exceed the expectations. No hotel would have offered us so many home feeling like Jessica's cabin offered us. Thank you for your hospitality Jessica.

We loved this beautiful cabin in the woods and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and enjoy spending time with our family! The amenities were great! Everything is well maintained and they have made sure you can relax with all of the “extra” touches that made staying here enjoyable. We would definitely come back next time we are floating the rivers!

We absolutely LOVED this little cabin and will most definitely be coming back! Even cuter in person and was the perfect little getaway. We added on the float trip as well which was also perfect and Kenny was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed!! 10/10 recommend

The place was awesome. Beautiful set up and location with lots to do and cabin was equipped with everything you need. The cabin was very hot during the day with the AC window units unable to keep up but cooled off decently in the night.

The stay at the longhorn cabin was a great place to sit back and relax beautiful scenery and amazing cabin with everything you need to have a great weekend the dogs on the property were an absolute delight they were extremely friendly and loved to be around people. The food available through the ranch was a really cool addition to my stay and loved the farm fresh eggs and meats overall this stay was 5 stars would love to come back out and visit the area again and stay at the longhorn cabins

We had a wonderful peaceful stay at the little red cabin! Jessi really thought of everything and had all the amenities and more! Easy check in and check out! We loved our stay.

This space was great! It was easy to find, easy to get in, and everything was exactly as expected. The welcome binder was super helpful and we loved the little touches like games, a few snacks, and even DVDs in case the wifi isn't cutting it. One of my favorite things was the fishing pond. Onandanga State Park was right down the road and a great way to spend a rainy day. A weekend at this place was exactly what we needed.

We had a wonderful weekend at the cabin celebrating my birthday with my parents and my husband. The place is even more beautiful than the photos — surrounded by nature, peaceful, and full of thoughtful details that make the stay incredibly cozy and comfortable. We saw fireflies, deer, frogs, and even went swimming in the river. Everything is so well taken care of, and you can truly feel the love that went into creating this space. It was one of the most special birthdays I’ve ever had. Thank you, Dustin, for sharing this little paradise with us! We hope to come back soon.

The place was nice and had a wonderful view of the lake. It has a screened in porch to hang out in. We went the week before it was fully staffed so most activities and meals were not available to us - which we were not aware of before arriving. There were still enough things to do. Manager was kind and accommodating and took time to give us a boat ride. We had awful storms one night and they had a good safety plan and management was helpful. Pros: had plenty of dishes, pans, utensils, towels. The queen bed was comfy and full size kitchen equipment was nice to have. Cons: the bunk beds are not great for adults with pain/back issues. There was no extra bedding (but we didn’t ask for any so that may be an option). Roads are rutted out so my low profile car had come issues driving in and out. We would definitely go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Murray’s Mill. Grant went above and beyond to help make our stay a wonderful experience. They were so thoughtful in all the little ways. I especially loved how the house is very kid friendly. Totes of toys (magnatiles, random toys, coloring and activities books) were provided. The tree swing was a big hit. Many other features made the home lovely and inviting. Beds were comfortable. Decor was modern, unique, and adorable. Home was clean. Kitchen was well stocked. We were surprised to even find condiments that came in handy when we grilled. Front porch was pleasant for peaceful evenings and quiet mornings . Property was beautiful. We had a wonderful experience and hope to stay again!!

Beautiful and Private. The home is clean and as described. The interstate is nearby and can be heard from the front porch but not at all from the inside. The view of the stars was amazing and the property was well kept. Other reviews also mentioned the driveway and it is a somewhat steep gravel road with turns. It was a little bit of a challenge in an 2WD SUV pulling a light trailer, but doable. It really should be mentioned in the main listing, but other than that the description and home matched perfectly. I would definitely recommend and will be giving 5 starts.

Stayed there for a fishing trip. Great property, great host, everything as advertised and some. Recommend to anyone.

We had an amazing time at the cabin as a family. We went to St Louis twice to do touristy things and we went to some state parks. The rock dig at Haunted Rocks was amazing. Only downside was a lot of mosquitoes at the creek and my son and I both got a tick. It was a very short walk to the creek (3 minutes or something). The TV was highly technical so we were able to relax and watch tv. Enjoyed the fire pit and the picnic table. I do wish there were more kitchen chairs (6 of us) and only 4 chairs. They were too small for my 4 year olds portable high chair. There was a tornado warning one night and my husband didn’t feel safe in the cabin. The storm shelter suggested was locked. We weren’t a fan of that. Overall we had a great time there. Thank you!

This was our second annual m tribe trip, both at this location. It fits of our needs and provides bedding, towels, kitchen needs and chairs for everyone in a big group. We love the private beach, both patios and the convenience of just walking down the hill to the beach. Also of note, each room has controls for the temp in your room and there are extra fans in the closets.

Quiet and a just perfect ! exactly what we needed. My husband loved walking all the trails, and my dogs enjoyed the walks!
