This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

Step inside a piece of history! The Wall Left Lodge, originally built in 1637 by the Muurlink family. In the 19th century, the family expanded with a house and that is now our welcoming B&B. Whether you are coming for a short hiking stopover or a longer stay, you are more than welcome. Weerribben-Wieden, Giethoorn, Blokzijl, the Amsterdam Lake District, and numerous hiking and biking routes (including pilgrim routes) are all within easy reach. Newly renovated house for 7 people (more possible after consultation) on the water with sauna, outdoor shower, kayaks and Canadian canoes.

Relax with each other/the whole family in our detached thatched 'villa' in a small holiday park on the edge of Weerribben-Wieden National Park. The accommodation offers 90m2 of space for 6 guests (plus 2 small children), with spacious living room and kitchen, three bedrooms, bathroom with toilet, shower and whirlpool bath, separate toilet on 1st floor and spacious (bicycle) storage. The paradise garden of more than 1900 square meters, including trampoline, offers 100% privacy.

Hiking trails are available from this farm, and you can dive into the woods. Giethoorn 12 km, Overijssel 10 meters and Drenthe 13 km. In short, the location is ideal for exploring the Netherlands! If you come for peace, you are in the right place! The house is full of comforts, and you have a large fenced garden at your disposal.

Vacation home is located on and near the water in a unique location completely surrounded by a beautiful nature reserve national park Weerribben and Weden. From the house, it is ideally suited for taking a bike ride, boating, fishing or canoeing. From the house, you can also see the picturesque villages such as Giethoorn, Kalenberg, Ossenzijl. But the port town of Blokzijl also has many attractions. In short, let yourself be surprised by the beautiful surroundings.

The other bedroom is suitable for 4 people, next to the double bed there is a built-in bedstead in this room. Ideal for a relaxing week or weekend with children thanks to private garden. With private parking.

De Scheve Deur

Our accommodation is in a monumental building and unfortunately not suitable for disabled people. This is due to the stairs to the top and stairs to the living room. The toilet is also only on the ground floor. Breakfast is optional and costs €12,50 p.p. We will serve breads, eggs, juices, yoghurt and fruits. Coffee and tea is free of use available.

At the edge of National Park Weerribben-Wieden, lies our holiday home located on the meadows. Enjoy nature and tranquility, but also a perfect base for exploring the Weerribben-Wieden. The towns of Kalenberg, Blokzijl, Giethoorn and Dwarsgracht are within cycling distance. Or rent a boat to view the Weerribben from the water.
