Come and enjoy farm life and stay in the old goat cottage on this exquisite piece of farm property that has been lovingly restored. We practice regenerative farming and encourage biodiversity. This is a place to relax, reconnect and recharge. It is our happy place where we embrace all forms of wildlife and love our menagerie of domestic pets from pigs to turkeys to horses and lots of dogs. Farmhouse on the river with private jetty

Tucked away in the most tranquil serene setting sits Long Thin Farm’s main house on the banks of the Goukou River. This beautiful house is surrounded by olive trees, milkwoods & the farm’s own vineyard. Sit outside on the spacious veranda, enjoying the wide variety of birdlife while sipping on some of the delicious local wines. The fully equipped kitchen, lounge & dining room are all open plan with stacking doors leading out to the veranda, private pool, and BBQ area with pizza oven.

Windsor Farm Cottage

The Windsor Farm Cottage is a charming old renovated cottage on the Goukou River, combined with vintage elements. The cottage offers complete tranquility and beautiful bird life. Surrounded with springbok, eland, ostrich and various other farm animals and birds. The cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 double rooms with vintage double brass beds. It offers a fully equipped kitchen , cooking facilities and necessary utensils. Laundry facilities and a cleaning girl available at extra cost.

The Uilhuis Cottage - one bedroom

Reconnect with loved ones in this family-friendly place. The Uilhuis is an affordable little cottage with everything you need for a one night stop or weekend break away. Situated between Riversdale and Heidelberg very close to the N2. With good restaurants just 15 minutes drive away. The cottage is comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children One Queen size bed and one bunkbed for the children. If you require an extra bedroom, we have a rondawel just next to the Uilhuis.

Honingnest Kop Farm, Stillhaven Retreat

The setting is a 75 hectare farm in the "backlands" of the Goukou River Valley, Stilbaai-West, a fynbos smothered landscape with a remote and far-off feel, it only 6km from Stilbaai. The farm offers easy-going walks and a platter of activities (bird lovers paradise!) To get here you must have a high clearance vehicle or 4x4. We solar power only and gas geysers and stove! no hair dryers, toasters or TV. Good cell phone signal and WiFi on request load own data.

Our Studio Unit is perfect for a couple or a couple with a small child. It has a double bed and a small sleeper couch. Waterryk Guest Farm is 6km from Stilbaai Town, with beautiful views of the river. You’ll love Waterryk because of the quietness and being able to enjoy nature. Getting woken up by roosters. You will struggle to find a better nights sleep anywhere.. Waterryk is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids).

Luxurious air-conditioned bachelor apartment only 150m from the Goukou river. Sleeps 2 people. The apartment is on the top floor of The Bellevue, one of Stilbaai's historical buildings. What sets the property apart is its private deck with beautiful views of the river. The deck is equipped with deck chairs, a grand umbrella, gas braai and ample seating and dining space. Guests also have access to the residents only swimming pool at The Bellevue.
