It is the perfect base for your whale watching trip, exploring Annapolis, Kejimkujik, Bear River or Digby Neck, but make sure you leave time to relax on the deck. Watch the fishing boats come and go, you may even see whales. Comb our rocky, cobblestone shoreline for sea glass or that special rock. Swim our cold, clear water if you dare! Digby is a fishing port so there is always lots to see there too.

Enjoy your stay near the Acadian shores in our spacious, breezy, fully renovated historic Acadian home. Originally built in 1837, this home has been brought up to today's expectations for comfort, functionality and environmental sustainability. It sleeps 5. There is also an inflatable air mattress - double and pump and space to accommodate two extra guests. This single level house has all the necessary amenities and is accessible to all. Our large property boasts gardens, fire pits, and yard games. The Rosette forestry trail is also open to all visitors of humming bird hill. We hope you will join us in our little piece of paradise.

This is an old Acadian Home located along the shores of St. Mary's Bay in Meteghan, NS. The home is all equipped with Kitchen, 1.5 Bath, and laundry facilities. The bedrooms are located upstairs and the main bathroom is located downstairs. The 1/2 bathroom (seat & sink) is located upstairs. Guests will occupy the entire house and have access to high speed internet and cable TV. There is no housekeeping services provided during your stay. Great view of St. Mary's Bay.

Cottage includes 1 Queen bed, 1 Double bed, and a pull-out sofa bed. Prior to your arrival we will send you detailed directions as you will travel roughly 8km on maintained dirt roads. We live on the same lake so we won't be far if you need anything.
