We cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience! I absolutely 10/10 recommend this place and would stay here again! It's nicer than the photos and the host is delightful! Such a great location for exploring and seeing National Parks in the region.

"Fat Albert's Cabin" Private Riverfront Cabin

We have stayed at a few places by rivers in Colorado, and this is our favorite by far. Jarka and Michael are warm welcoming hosts, greeting us when we arrived . The place is incredibly peaceful, the river just a few steps from the house. A fire pit for fires in the morning by the river was a favorite of ours, and well as cold plunges into the river where they have sculpted a soaking pool. We all slept incredibly well, ate out meals on the deck listening to the river. They have games, puzzles, books, and spaces to relax all over the property. This is a very special place, and I’m grateful we had the opportunity to spend a week here!

Bill is an awesome host and his Airbnb is amazing. Great views, great location, felt like home as we walked in. Beds were comfy with great linen and he was just a text away. We would definitely stay here again.Thank you for the great experience. The holiday decorations were a nice touch and our stay was wonderful.

Secluded Cozy Cabin in the Forest

We initially had a little trouble finding the cabin: the Google map attached took us up the neighbor's driveway. But after fumbling around a little we found it and moved in. (We stayed a week). Everything was as advertised: the kitchen facilities were fine (hot plate, microwave, refrigerator;no stove). The shower worked well, bed was comfortable, good chairs and tables. The single large room was set up well, and didn't feel cramped. No closet or other storage. We enjoyed being in it, and especially enjoyed sitting out in the rocking chairs on the porch. The WIFI was good. Lighting could have been better. Even with numerous lamps spread around, it was still a little dim for reading. The location for us was fabulous- every morning we walked up the dirt road 5 minutes to the Boggy Draw trailhead and walked a different trail before breakfast. We drove out to Hovenweep, to Mesa Verde, and one day made a long loop over Lizard Head Pass. Overall: High quality rustic cabin in the woods.

John was quite helpful during the whole process. Althea's Cabin was perfectly clean and located directly adjacent to Castle Rock Peak via Elbert Creek Trail, which makes for excellent hiking. The electric fireplace was a very nice touch, and the tankless water heater meant there was never a fear of a freezing shower. All appliances were in great condition and the property was clean and safe. The Olde Schoolhouse across the street had great pizza also. I would stay there again, as this is a great place to relax just outside Durango near the San Juan National Forest.

Enchanted Retreat

Nancy and Tom are not only wonderful people and perfect hosts, but their Enchanted Retreat almost defies description. The thoughtfully designed house is spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped, with beautiful views in all directions. The setting is like an island in the sky, both relaxing and invigorating at the same time, with the complete tranquility underscored by the sounds of birds, the breeze, and occasional brief rain or distant thunder and lightning over the La Plata range. We could have easily never left the property, but we did venture over to neighboring Mesa Verde, and up the incredible San Juan Skyway to Telluride and Ridgeway. By now it is evident that this is a very special place. Five stars is hardly a sufficient rating, and we doubt if we could ever match or exceed this for a western mountain retreat. Nicole was a fantastic host. Prompt and thorough communication, clean home, and all the supplies you could need. This home is stunning in itself, let alone the surroundings. My husband is 6’5” and said he truly felt like everything was a great height (even the shower, which is a rarity with air bnb haha). Highly recommend!
