Cabin, one hour drive from Tromsø

3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room. One bedroom on the ground floor(bed 120 cm). Two bedrooms on the first floor. Bedroom 1: (both beds 90 cm). Bedroom 2: (one bed 150 cm, one 90 cm, one 75 cm). Floorheating in bathroom and living room. Any type of heating is included in the rent. The area under 'The Lyngen Alps' (Lyngsalpene) are popular both for winter and summer vacations. In the dark months in mid Winter you can view the 'Northern Lights' (Aurora Borealis). When the darkest Winter is changing in to longer days the skiers appears in the spectacular mountains surrounding the house.  If you want to go skiing, you go outside, put on your skies and of you go. There is a restaurant/bar that have a seasonal opening hours. The local grocery store is 5 km away. In Winter the local husky farm can give you a sledgeride into the picturesque surroundings, or you can go horseback riding in the Summer. During the Summer you can try the good fishing opportunities in the area. Fishing in lakes, river, creeks and the fjord is very popular. You can even do this all day and night, due to the midnightsun. The international airport in Tromsø is just 70km away. The train station in Narvik is just above 2 hours drive away. There are local buses daily, except Saturdays. Finland is 1hr 45 min drive away, and Sweden is 3 hours drive away. This is a place to relax an spend time in nature. Perfect to just sit outside watching the Northern lights crossing the sky. The owners of the house live nearby, they speak English and some German. They will try to answer all of your questions as best they know how.

Cozy older house with barbecue room in beautiful surroundings

Here you will find tranquility and can enjoy beautiful nature in lovely surroundings. The fishing water is very close to the listing and takes 2 minutes to walk there. Barbecue room where you can make a fire and barbecue if you want. Helpful with firewood. A great hiking terrain in the area summer and winter. Possibility to borrow ice drills and fishing equipment if desired. The northern lights are often dancing and are a lovely spectacle for those who have an interest in it. Basement apartment

Need a place to stay just for some nights or maybe more? The apartment can be found in Grønåsveien 553, and it's just a 12-15 minute drive to the nearest shops at Storsteinnes. Between September-March there's a lot of Northern Lights activity here, And Aurora Borealis can be seen if the time is right. There's also a local mountain nearby called Fugletind/Nattmålstind , which is very suitable to visit any time of the year. A perfect goal for skiing between february and may.

Nice place, unique nature and northern lights

Large apartment with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, good standard. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. It includes linens, towels, various soaps and possibility to wash clothes. The place is perfect for northern lights watching and nature experiences with proximity to the Lyngen alps. The site is located directly below the northern light belt with little light pollution, 50 minutes from Tromsø. It is recommended to rent a car and we offer a discount deal at Hertz.

About this place: The hut is brand new and special. In the kitchen and living room there are large window surfaces and and very high under the roof. The view is therefore spectacular and has to be experienced. You can hear and see the sea from the terrace because the cabin is only 50 meters from the sea. You can park your car almost right next to the lodge. It is therefore very easy to use the cabin. You can carry your luggage right into the cabin.

Hytte på Ytre Tomasjord med fantastisk utsikt over Balsfjorden. Sitte i jacuzzien å nyte nordlyset eller ta badstu for så å avkjøle seg med et snøbad ! 55 km fra Tromsø sentrum! Cottage is 250 m from the main road so in winter times you need 4wd car for going there! Price pr night to hire the jacuzzie is 50 euro. price pr night for the sauna is 30 euro. Offer this season a rent car SUV with 4wd; Range Rover Sport for 160 euro pr day.

The Gold of the Sea

Really cute cabin, perfect for couples who want peace and quiet with beautiful views. Large glass windows allow you to enjoy the view and the midnight sun also from the inside if you want. We had all the equipment we needed in the cabin. Friendly hosts who did a little extra to make us feel welcome. Large plot we could use as the host keeps it. Rich with birdsong, almost no cars driving by and we saw hares jumping over the lawn at night. There are two beautiful sandy beaches nearby. The hosts tipped us off about a hiking trail that went up the mountain and we had a great hike followed by stockfish and beer down on the jetty in the shelter of the wind. Bring good hiking shoes if you are going to the mountains. From the bedroom there is also a beautiful view and the bed is built up so that you can lie in the soft bed and look out. Everything in the cabin appears to be new and we had a great weekend!

A wonderful, warm, and memorable stay! We had such a wonderful time at Lisa’s unique, romantic fisherman’s cabin! The place itself is cottagecore — a charming cabin right by the water, with stunning views and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. What made our stay truly special was the kindness and generosity of Lisa, Tor Erlend, and their kids. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable — from providing warm blankets for airports, bringing us coffee, offering rides in days that buses r off, and helping us to stay warm. It felt more like staying around friends farm than just a rental. The whole family came together to create a warm, welcoming experience for us, and we left with wonderful memories we’ll treasure for a long time. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you Lisa, Tor Erlend, and kids, for making it all so beautiful!
