Beautiful private guest suite attached to the main house. This lovely property is in the heart of Staffordshire Moorlands. We live within a small estate that is surrounded by the beautiful country side that is also a part of a quaint little town of Cheadle and surrounded by other small towns consisting of boutique shops. You will be pleased to hear that we are surrounded by lots of local attractions such as, Alton towers, Churnet valley railway, Trentham gardens and lots more.

We had a fantastic stay, loved every minute. Geraldine is a lovely host - she and her family were friendly and welcoming - we were very well looked after during our stay. The house is in a gorgeous location - the village is beautiful and peaceful but is still in easy reach of nearby towns and local amenities if needed. We had some lovely walks during our week - the countryside is stunning. A fabulous property - full of character and has the most lovely feel to it. The furnishings are of a high quality and the house is very well equipped - we were so comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. We will absolutely definitely be back - very soon we hope!

This was our second stay in our return journey Devon to Northumberland. All was as great as our first stay. This is the perfect stopover for a long west side north / south journey. Really convenient for the M6 and a little oasis of calm after a long drive. Another gorgeous walk along the tow path. This time for a delicious pizza at Proven in Stone - together with a large welcome glass of wine and a limoncello for dessert !

Very relaxing stay from start to finish. Communication with Clare was excellent. Arranged arrival time and was there to greet us and show us around. We had all that we needed and enjoyed the kitchen/ living space upstairs. Great to have the cosy little lounge downstairs as well. 2 small televisions meant we could both watch what we wanted. Must mention the lovely view of the birds as there are great bird feeders there. Also enjoyed meeting the pigs and alpacas.

We had a lovely stay! There was a small hitch getting into the house, but it was rectified easily and Marie even brought round a bottle of wine as way of an apology 😊. We received a lovely welcome basket with eggs, bread and milk and there were lots of lovely extras such as dog blankets and board games. The village is beautiful and the pub is within easy walking distance. Lots to do in the area and within driving distance. Definitely justified in 5 stars

Humble Home Uttoxeter, Sleeps 5, Near Alton Towers

Our family had a wonderful stay here! The place was spotless and so homely with everything we needed. The stair gates were a great feature for us to have to ensure our 1 year old was safe and both our children loved playing with the toys and play kitchen. Extra thought has really been given to this cosy home to help families with younger children have an easy trip away. The highchair was available as well as a travel cot. Children's cutlery, plates, cups and bath toys were all ready to use too. The house is a perfect distance from Alton Towers. We visited CBeebies land and the Waterpark over two days and the drive was around 20 minutes each way. There are shops close by, either within walking distance or there is a little Tesco a short drive away. I also have to mention how helpful Emily was when I had missed the checkin information and she responded almost immediately to ensure we could access the house on our arrival. I would 100% recommend this accommodation.

Countryside Getaway near Alton Towers

Just got back from staying for the weekend with friends and we had such a great time we’re looking at dates to go back next year. Such a nice building done to a high standard and the surroundings are beautiful. We couldn’t hear any noise from Alton Towers even though it’s so close. The place is well stocked with everything you need and a little welcome gift was much appreciated. Communication was great and they even pre-warmed the hot tub (wood powered) for our arrival. Would recommend taking flip flops or similar for getting out of the hot tub. Thank you!
