Aurora Cabin in Nature – Sauna & Fireplace

The cabin is in scenic and rural surroundings, with a good and high standard. With proximity to the sea, mountains, nature and ski slopes and the possibility of experiences such as the northern lights from the terrace. About 35 minutes from Tromsø Airport. The cabin is equipped with all kitchen equipment, coffee machine, bathroom with washing machine, shower, toilet and drying rack. The living room has a sofa, dining table, TV with strong google TV. The cabin: With us you get to experience a modern, well-maintained cabin in idyllic surroundings. We have a total of 6 available beds, 2 bedrooms, 1 loft. Wood burning which makes the evenings extra cozy, but also a warm warmth. Recommended to hire a car, as bus connections are limited. Bath: The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, washing machine, hairdryer and towels. Kitchen: New kitchen, with lovely large windows so you can enjoy the view during meals. There is both a dining table in the kitchen and in the living room. Equipment available is: All equipment for preparing food, fridge, freezer, microwave, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker and kettle. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

That's why we offer you free rental of bicycles, snowshoes, canoes, firewood, barbecues and kayak for those with experience. The apartment is on the first floor and has large windows. It is in the nature surrounded by the ocean, white coral beaches, islets and reefs, you can see this trough the apartment windows. Park right outsidee and indside you really have everything you might need.

You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

Our house is in a quiet neighbourhood about 45 minutes drive from Tromsø. There is cross country skiing tracks and beautiful running/hiking paths accessible straight from the house. The northern lights in the winter time are very visible due to little light pollution and the midnight sun ensures long evenings on the terrace.

The home is part of Hansvoll farm and is half an hour's drive from Tromsø city. Here on the farm, fur farming has been carried out in combination with fishing for many generations. For those who want a scenic holiday in quiet and peaceful surroundings, this is the right place.
