The house is located in the open countryside in a beautiful setting away from the public road. There is no direct access by car to the house, there is a fresh walk of about 100 meters to go up a slope to the house It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The house is located next to a stream, which creates a cozy atmosphere.

The house is very old. Originally the house was half the size it is today, only around 15m2. In 1884 they built it bigger, around 29m2. Nobody knows how old the original house is. People have been living in the small village of Tjørnuvík for thousand years.
