Farm Stay, Animal Sanctuary, Relax, Fun & Feeding

JosephRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
There is absolutely nothing we can fault in the hosts or the property. The house matches the description, and is honestly 100x better than the photos. It is very suitable for young children, it is safe and there are plenty of things to do. It is just as fun for adults. We let our children run around with peace of mind that they were safe and entertained, while we had some time to relax. We spent most of our stay outside because there is so much to do. The house was clean, had beautiful sunlight coming through and had all the amenities we needed. The air conditioners and heaters provided kept us warm through the night. The animals were very friendly and we could feed them whenever we wanted which was fun. Spacious garden with lots of activities. Alex was such a welcoming host, he baked us delicious bread, and left some butter and jam for us to enjoy. He had some great recommendations for lots of things. He left clear instructions for everything, he was so responsive, and so friendly.

Little Farmhouse Near The Dairy

CaiseeRating, 5 stars2 days ago
In a pretty part of the country, kids loved the swings, ball games, firepit and running around playing Spotlight after dark. Picturesque creek at the bottom fence. Property fully fenced. Not having window blackout blinds didn't concern us at all as we were up early. We loved the thick morning fog. Farmhouse has everything you need. No dishwasher. We liked the water saving hand washing sink over the toilet cistern. Laundry is in a bedroom cupboard but again no problem. Bed was extremely comfortable. Inside fire warmed the whole house cosily. Plenty of firewood. Cooked on the spit, so worth the experience...3kg boneless leg lamb from the Stroud butcher took just under 3 hours to cook. ...also did potatoes in the coals...you need to bring your own charcoal for the spit. No bugs at all. Two friendly pet cows that love white bread. I asked the 9 year old twins what they liked the best about our farmhouse stay and they said everything!

Little Monkerai - Cottage

Chi ChiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The place we stayed at was tranquil and peaceful. It overlooked a lake and bushland. It was such a nice get away from the busyness of the city, especially waking up to the sunrise and birds. The outdoor area is large and a great place for BBQ. The grill was easy to use and cooking oil and utensils were all readily available. Judy was a friendly and helpful host. She even went out of her way at night to meet us and guide us to the property. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.

Loved the house. The layout was perfect. Bedrooms not close together, 2 bathrooms, everything elese in between. The views are stunning. Love having cows, horses and sheep roaming close. Loved it.

We had a great long weekend in Sugarloaf. Very peaceful, and beautiful surroundings. There is truly is no service, so it was nice to switch off from the hustle and bustle. There were great board games and movies to keep us entertained at night!

Gloucester River Getaway

Such a beautiful little spot! Was very cold, and wet due to weather but we enjoyed staying indoors playing games. Too bad we couldn’t get down to the river, but was still a really nice couple of days.

Rustic Tiny Home in Bush Setting

Couldn’t fault our stay here. Check in was very simple, communication throughout the booking was great, the house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit and utilised this all weekend to cook some amazing food over the open flame. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
