Our stay was overall wonderful. The hosts were responsive and accommodating to our requests. The house itself was beautiful—comfortable and tastefully furnished with charming, hacienda-style décor. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked with most essentials we needed. While the location is a bit remote and intricate to find, it added to the retreat-like feel of the property. Two of the bedrooms unfortunately do not have air conditioning which in ES is necessary, especially during the afternoon. The pool was perfect for relaxing, and the lush garden surroundings inside the property were absolutely beautiful, with plenty of fruit trees and even horses grazing nearby—a nice touch. The lakefront could use some improvement, cleaning of the vegetation or a pier, but you can walk to a nearby small beach area for access. There are also local restaurants nearby. A special mention to Juan, the property caretaker—he was phenomenal. Incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and attentive.

Casa 1800 exceeded our expectations. It was charming, unique and gorgeous. The staff was wonderful, and the view was incredible. The bed was the best we had in El Salvador, and the shower was hot!

Great location 2 blocks from the plaza. The hostel garden is very nice and invites you to relax in it. Although they could not give us the room early, they allowed us to leave our luggage at the hostel, which is appreciated. I recommend it!

It’s a beautifully property. The staff is friendly and the pool is very convenient. The rooms are roomy. The location is great. The car service that was recommended was great. My only nit is that they were not as proactive as I would have expected on a problem that was reported (a leak) but they were willing and helpful in having me moved to a different room that was nicer. They also paid for my laundry on the last day as a gesture.
