Beautiful place and lots of bird life. Vascular warp just by the house and guided around the warp. Large crevasse in the area. The house is sheltered and overlooks the sea, and is well visible on Snæfellsnät in a good view. In winter, under the right conditions, there is a great chance of seeing the Northern Lights. The house is old, but it's all new. The sleeping loft has 2 good mattresses (steep climb). Bright and beautiful. Short to the airport, about 10 minutes ( 9 km .), and nice swimming pool in Sandgerði ( 2 km.)

The apartment is situated just 6 minutes drive from the airport and 15- 20 minutes form the Blue Lagoon. You can find a public swimming pool with both outdoor and indoor swimming pools in 3 minutes walk from us, there is also a big playground area.There is a small shoppingcenter, Krossmói in about 8 minutes walking distance. There you can find ATM, bank, supermarket, pharmacy, resturants and other shops. There is also the town bus center (it is outside and there are no servicekiosk).

It was everything we expected. Very cozy. Very functional. If you are a light sleeper, the only issue is the four single beds that are upstairs are pretty bright due to not being able to black out all of the beautiful windows and doors. The hosts were great communicators.

Staying at Magnea’s home was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly positioned with a breathtaking coastal view. Evenings were magical — watching the sun set over the ocean, waves gently crashing on the shore, and seabirds diving for fish in the golden light. Standing in the backyard, looking out at the sea, felt like stepping into a scene from a storybook or a travel magazine — the kind of place where models pose and influencers dream of capturing the perfect shot. The location couldn’t have been more convenient — just 15 minutes from both the town and the airport, and only 30 minutes from the Blue Lagoon. It made everything easy, whether we needed groceries or wanted to explore. Magnea was a wonderful host — warm, responsive, and thoughtful in every detail. I absolutely loved my stay here and would return in a heartbeat for a weekend getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, scenic, and soul-refreshing.

Jolanta, the host, has amazing vibes. She makes you feel right at home and is so personable and caring. That being said about my favorite host to date: her accommodations are pristinely clean. The apartment/condo is very comfortable and perfect for our family of five. The beds were lovely and the black out curtains allowed for a restful sleep. I saw a rainbow outside at 12:00 am! With a gorgeous and private back deck, the hot tub is filled with the same water that comes from the Blue Lagoon. It is invigorating and repaired our travel weary bodies. I look forward to booking with Mrs. Jolanta again. Iceland is magnificent!
