Relax by the seaside in Akrar, Suduroy.

Our house is located in the small and peaceful village Akrar on the southern most island Suduroy of the Faroe Islands. Looking out the windows or even just having the windows open, you feel as if you are one with nature, as the house is located by the see. You can hear the ocean as the waves strike right outside the window. This 100 year old house, has been renovated through the years, but you still get the feel of going through the decades, the new has carefully been blended in with the old.

Luxury cottage in stunning surroundings.

Luxury summerhouse from 2022 in lovely surroundings with a great view, located in a secluded spot with an incredibly rich wildlife. You can meet hares right outside the house, and birds build nests around the grasslands. There are 12 beds in the house, plus 2 travel beds for toddlers, but plenty of room for extra mattresses on the floor. From July 2023 it is possible to rent access to the jacuzzi for 6 people for an additional fee. 1000kr for 1 day, the following days it costs 500kr per day.

The former hotel in Ørðavik is now ready to reopen after having been closed for some years. The hotel has been restored and each room has now its own bathroom. The hotel has a common kitchen, equipped with all modern conveniences. Furthermore the hotel has got a new name: GIST GIST is situated in a very beautiful and peaceful place close to a small river. A busstop is close by and give you the opportunity to travel by bus around our beautiful island. We wish you all heartly welcome

Experience the opportunity to live in this unique house in Froðba, where you are embraced by the sea view and the surrounding natural areas. From this cozy villa you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Trongisvágsfjord. Traditional older Faroese house (cozy atmosphere) in nice surroundings with good views of the fjord. 10 meters to the boat bridge where you can fish from, access to canoe and rowboat (at your own risk) 5 min. walk from supermarket. 15 min. walk from Tvøroyri. 10 min. walk to with good opportunities for trout/salmon fishing etc. Fishing equipment is available for free use.
