Ocean View Guest Suite in Hillside Escape

Situated on top of Hoop pine Lane Hill 1.5 km from the peaceful beaches of Suffolk Park. Our Studio is attached to the main house with views of the Byron Bay light house and Tallow beach. Set opposite a nature reserve, wake up to the sounds of native birds and wildlife. The Studio is fully self contained with a spacious living area and kitchenette, with a coffee machine, microwave, oven, fridge, toaster and kettle, and dual air-con/heating system. Our dreamy cane chair library space is full of wonderful reads about Byron Bay and Beyond, our local indigenous history, surfing, and guides of where to eat and what to do. The master suite has a luxurious hand crafted wooden king bed, with a large walk in robe next to the bathroom, with ironing facilities and clothes horse. Our studio is ideal for a romantic Byron Bay getaway or a family with a young child. For the golf enthusiasts, the beautiful Byron Bay Golf Course is only a 5 min walk down the hill. *An adorable and very friendly chocolate labrador called Mae lives on site, and loves to visit and cuddle with guests. Guest have access to their own off street car park in front of the garden bed on our property, and private entry to the Studio is via the paved pathway to the right of the house. Free high speed wifi. We respect the privacy and choices of our guests whilst on holiday, yet we are available 24/7 via mobile to help with any enquires. Suffolk Park is on the southern outskirts of Byron Bay, New South Whales overlooking the stunning Tallow Beach stretch to Broken Head National Park. It is 30-minute drive of the airport and 5 minutes from the bustling Suffolk Park community shops. Depending on the kind of holiday you are seeking, it is advisable to hire or have access to a car, for the convenience and accessibility to explore the area. To get to the Studio, it is 45min drive south from the Goldcoast, or 25min drive north from Ballina/Byron Gateway Airport. As mentioned the studio is situated on top of a hill, down hill stroll is always fun yet on return... Your booty will get a solid workout. Within 5 min drive to the bustling Suffolk Park community and beach access. Or 15-20min walk. There is access to the local bus routes. We truly love this space and hope you get as much pleasure, relaxation and enjoyment from it as we did creating it.

This Totally private fully self-contained Studio. It has free wifi and reverse cycle air conditioning and an enclosed courtyard and deck for your pets. You can park your car on the left hand side of driveway. There's a 2nd studio for friends or family. The studio is situated about 5 to 10 mins drive to Byron Bay. After booking please read house manual for instructions on what to do and where to get key etc. please leave fan on in bathroom when u go out and after using the shower . thankyou

From the moment you step through the gate, you feel the relaxed Byron vibe! It's a 2 min walk to Baz & Shaz's 'pantry', 7 mins to Suffolk village, and 15 mins to Tallow Beach. I felt so welcomed in this homely space. Its part of their home but felt very private. The suburb is gorgeous and peaceful and still in proximity to beaches and shops. They have created a stunning place with a tasteful, eclectic feel. Everything was pristine, warm, and classy. I am an artist and was looking for a quiet space to do some work (drawing) and I definitely found it there. I would definitely stay again. Thanks guys. Miranda.

Charming beachside studio

We had a wonderful stay at Josh's Place! The beach cottage was beautifully presented, with every detail thoughtfully considered to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The quality of the mattress and linen was fantastic and really made us feel at home! The location was also great. We had the advantage of being in a quiet street, and could also easily walk to the beach, as well as all the local amenities, including cafes, restaurants, and shops. Josh's communication was really great, making check-in and check-out a breeze. He even went the extra mile to share with me where to source one of the cushions I fell in love with. The cherry on top was being able to bring our Golden Retriever Frankie who also had a wonderful stay. We can't recommend Josh's Place highly enough! If you're looking for a relaxing beach getaway in close to Byron Bay, look no further. We look forward to coming back! Thanks Josh!

Glen and Caroline were extremely friendly hosts who made us feel like family. They genuinely cared and helped us out, when needed. their cabin is beautifully peaceful amongst their back yard garden. We loved our stay. We could hear the beach from the cabin, which was a short walk away. Similarly, great restaurants and bakery were only 200m down the road. Wonderful stay! Thank you!

Great location walking distance to the beach and the local shops in Suffolk, which has a couple of great little restaurants if you don't want to go into Byron Bay. The space was very comfortable with everything we needed in kitchen, lounge and dining. Comfortable beds too.
