The Alpine A is a solar powered structure on a lean-to roof, built by Gary from the show "Mountain Men" on History Channel. A deck with gas firepit, small grill, a couple folding chairs. Inside is a small living room, kitchenette, toilet room, shower room, queen size bed, twin size bed in the loft, the couch is a futon sleeper. If you've ever wondered what a tiny home is like, now is your chance to experience it in the Alpine A! We are less than 7 minutes from Boone.

Perched at 3600’ at the top of a quiet street, the home provides a perfect romantic mountain getaway, serene space for a working retreat, or basecamp for family adventures! The home is located under 10 minutes from downtown Boone and a short distance from many attractions, while providing a mountain escape. Enjoy incredible views of Sugar, Beech, and Grandfather Mountains from the huge deck.

The A-Frame on Blueberry Hill can comfortably sleep 8 guests. You will love the huge deck & the large hot tub. The property sits on 5 acres made up of rolling hills & 2 small ponds. In addition to the king & queen bedrooms, there is an upstairs loft area with a queen bed adjacent to the bathroom, as well as a recently renovated full basement with a set of bunk beds, a queen bed, and a large sectional sofa and TV. This is a perfect spot for kids or teens!

The loft is separate from our house, privacy assured. Enjoy our friendly chickens, walk in our gardens. 12 minutes from Boone. 15 minutes to ASU. Cozy, modern. Fast Internet. Pet free space. Adults only +(infants under 7 mo. Stocked kitchen. If you cook, we ask you to clean up too, and leave the kitchen as you found it. Views of Snake mountain, famous for hang gliding. Trout fishing & 3 nearby ski slopes. All 30 minutes to one hour from loft.

We designed Helen's to be family friendly and in the hopes of providing everything you will need for a cozy and enjoyable stay in the North Carolina mountains.
