Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Sumatra

We felt so warm touching from Raj and Angie his wife ,also Rena and Sultan. They did the best hospitality we ever experienced. Their food was super great. Their place is the million dollars view house, also was so clean and convenient. The house is big and all areas are super clean. The building and decoration was impressed us. Raj always communicated to explain hiw to get to his house by train which is very fast (about 5-10 minutes from Penang hill bottom station) and easy to get to his house which is private. We got chance two times to walked from top of Penang hill to house in different ways which is beautiful rainforest and good facilities in trails can make you feel safe and enjoyable. Overall is the best ever! Can't thank enough for the host hospitality.

Raj was a great host even though we never got to meet him. His team did a great job as well. The food was good and well presented. Overall the stay was excellent and a great escape from the world below. Will definitely visit again

Raj was very hospitable, giving the tour of the place and how he did up the place. Of course the train ride is an interesting way to get up there. The views at night was wonderful - the city skylines at night, coupled with some lightning in the far distance. Couple of nights back was the last supermoon of the year, but the night I stayed, the supermoon was still around - but dyed in red, probably due to the current haze. The sunrise was a bit not too prominent due to haze,but all in all, the views were still wondrous! Another thing to add is that the optional meals - dinner: Asam laksa was poo acked to the brim! The taste is as authentic as penang gets and it's worth it to pay the extra for. A pity, it was a solo trip, would be great to come back with some company. Nevertheless, a great place to stay and hike upwards to the top (I didn't do, but will next time!). Definitely worth it to stay more nights!

Hidden gems in Lojing!

overall a lovely experience and great value. Ruby and Vasantha (the people that manage the place) were fantastic. Beautiful flora and fauna, interesting layout, and friendly helpful staff, who went beyond our expectations to make sure we had a good experience. if anything it seems like they could use some help with the upkeep (only two people manage the whole place!), cooking, farming, administration, housekeeping etc. The WiFi reception was was weak, but plenty of nature to keep you entertained

Me and my friends had a great time at Fern’s place. Its private, has a swimming pool, and nice spacious open area to do BBQ at night and just hang-out and appreciate the serenity of nature.

The accommodation is simple but clean. Only cold water, we first had a room with a bad shower, when we asked for another room we got it right away. Good restaurant, the breakfast is a bit stingy and the coffee is not drinkable..🤫, but the friendly helpful staff made everything good. Here we also booked our 3 days in the jungle. We were accompanied by Leo and Ecco, who were really fantastic, had humor, took great care of us and had the patience of angels when things didn't go so fast. In the camp we got the most fantastic food prepared by the cook. Unfortunately, I forgot his name, but we ate the best food of our entire trip there!! On the last day, unfortunately, I fell very hard, Leo picked a few leaves and made a compress, so that the swelling was gone in the evening! He also came to the hotel in the evening with a miracle ointment that I had to rub on my bruises and swollen knee. No idea what it was, but it helped!❤️ Do it!
