Cozy historic house with scenic location. A few steps from the beach with beautiful panoramic views of idyllic nature. Everything is within walking distance. Quiet and beautiful surroundings, despite the central location. The house is cozy with an entrance hall, fully equipped separate kitchen, bathroom with shower and washing machine. Two bedrooms with two beds each and a living room with a sofa bed. Two terraces, the large one in front with associated garden furniture and spa in the months from April to August, which can also be used.

Hósvík is centrally located in the Faroe Islands and is the perfect base for exploring the islands, or just relax in peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The apartment is perfect for individuals/couples, with or without children, who do not need much indoor space. There are narrow stairs in the apartment, i.e. unsuitable for people who are not fully mobile.

There is a fairly large bedroom with a good double bed, which can also be two single beds. There is a brand new kitchen, so there are good opportunities to cook, and it is only a 3-minute walk to a grocery store. There is a dining area, a cozy corner with a sofa, and then there is a lovely bathroom with a washing machine.

The house is very old. Originally the house was half the size it is today, only around 15m2. In 1884 they built it bigger, around 29m2. Nobody knows how old the original house is. People have been living in the small village of Tjørnuvík for thousand years.
