Hytta is 120 sqm and was finished in the spring of 2020 . The cottage has very high quality with "Madsstova" from before 1850 -steps from Jølster. The cabin has 2 fireplaces, a laundry room and a sauna. At the cabin there is a covered patio and boat and canoe can be provided, but must be booked separately. For fishing for fishing in the water, you have to buy a fishing license. The cabin is located at Viksdalsvatnet/Hestadfjorden and in a great hiking area. Further up the valley one comes to Gaularfjellet and over to Sogn. In the opposite direction is Førde with 13000 inhabitants

Jølster offers beautiful nature good fishing opportunities in Jølstervannet which is known as a very good fishing water. Here is a great hiking terrain with marked hiking trails. From the cabin it is a short distance to the shop, golf course and Jølster ski center. Jølster can offer cultural experiences, local crafts, art museum. From the cabin it is walking distance to Tindefjelle and Steinegga.

Here on the farm lives a dog, a cat and four rabbits, all of which are possible to greet. Haukedalsvatnet has good fishing opportunities and here is the opportunity to rent a boat, as well as fishing rods. Experience the international tourist road through Viksdalen. Viksdalen consists of many hiking opportunities, and experiences worthwhile.

There are wonderful fishing spots in the Gaular River.Fossestien's waymarked paths provide many different mountain trails. In the evening, you can lounge on the terrace with its 7-seat Jacuzzi, gas barbecue, and garden furniture. Welcome to the Opera Farm: "Sølvane Farm" Enjoy nature, food and culture at our farm while staying in this blue house next to the concert barn. This house is one of 10 houses, rooms and cabins at the farm, and we have 6 suites opened 2022. Total we can accommodate 50 guests. We have concerts, dinners and events at the barn the whole summer. It is about 44 km from Førde, 62 km from Sogndal. 500m from Jølstravatnet (30 km long Jølster lake), which is one of the best places for trout fishing in Norway.
