House holiday rentals in Sunset Key

The stay experience exceeded our expectations. The only recommendation would be to have a listing of recommended restaurants, beaches, boat rental places, etc to go see in both Marathon and key west. We visited key west and found out afterwards where we should have gone.

This property was everything and more. Clean, all amenities provided as advertised and the perfect location in Marathon. Randy was very responsive and went out of his way to provide us with top notch service. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning again.

The house was very clean and inviting upon arrival. Nice location short drive to great restaurants and local grocery stores also less than 5min walk to the beach. Mr Eddie responded in a timely manner when we had questions. All in all we had a great time and very much enjoyed our stay! Thanks Mr Eddie

This stay was the perfect vacation I was looking forward to, I stayed 7 days at this water front property with a great balcony to enjoy evenings and a boat ramp to launch the boats in the back yard along with the pool to keep us cool. Plenty of room for our trucks and trailers, the inside of the home was comfortable and relaxing. Was truly a great vacation Thank you

Was such an amazing place. My family loved it. My dad was thrilled with it which he’s normally the one that’s the one we need to impress. He’s never really liked going to Keywest because of how busy it is. This spot and location he absolutely LOVED. Which made all of us happy. The house is gorgeous and massive. The pictures don’t do the place justice. Super peaceful, relaxing and just a beautiful layout. We were 10min from town and sooo much to do around our area if we didn’t feel like going into the main town. Very pleased! We will be back for sure. Even my father’s words! He has a new appreciation for Keywest! Thank you Javier for everything!

Amazing views and ocean breeze! Modern and clean home which I appreciated. Only thing I could ask for but it’s strictly on my wishlist is an elevator. I was dealing with a knee injury so the steps were tough but worth it when you get to the balcony and enjoy that view! Couldn’t ask for a better stay and vacation in the Keys with my family!

The house was exactly how it was described online. Everything was well marked. Lots of stuff to do at the home. Very spacious and well maintained. There were only 7 of us, so lots of extra space. The pool is on the perfect side so your not blasted with the late afternoon sun. However, there is a huge umbrella in case it is needed. Kitchen is fully stocked so nothing was needed. There is a BBQ grill as well as a flat top which is nice for outside cooking. The only thing I would recommend is to bring your own pillow if your a particular pillow person (we love our feather pillows), house pillows were not feather ones. If you rent here and have a boat definitely go to the Sombrero Lighthouse to snorkel. Never saw so many fish in one place. The Conch Cafe and Coast to Coast pizza are both great food restaurants and walkable from the home. Publix is so close it was a daily visit. Truly enjoyed the week stay!!!!!

I knew that I was limited on what I could do during the week stay bc of a knee injury and it was just fine bc I was quite happy just being at the house for most of my stay. Just loved it and didn’t want to leave. Even though this is an active boating location and boating route l, I still felt quite peaceful staying there. The pool was great and the hot tub was quite beneficial for my knee. Just be careful climbing into the pool. The ladder going up is quite steep. I would’ve preferred some true stairs. But that’s coming from someone with a hurt knee too so take it with a grain of salt. And if you don’t feel like going out to eat, seriously order the steamed shrimp by the pound at FishTails on the corner. It is within walking distance. Will definitely be back for another stay in the future.

Thank you so much for such an amazing stay! We loved the gorgeous property and all the lovely decor inside! Property was extremely clean and Sandy was so kind and helpful! We spent almost every evening in the hot tub! The home had everything we neded for an awesome week and was in a great central location, close to everything we wanted to do! We loved TJs Tiki Bar for dinner and a beautiful sunset! Thank you again Sandy! :)

we were a family of 6 staying and had more then enough room. the house was perfect and had everything you needed. we enjoyed fishing off the deck and watching the manatees everyday day swimming by. the backyard was absolutely perfect to hang out and relax. Carmen is a great host and communicates fast. would absolutely stay here again.

We loved The Toasted Coconut! Everything about our stay was amazing but what made it above and beyond any place I've ever stayed, were the added accommodations. Since we flew from out of state, we were very limited on the things we could bring. Katie had a high chair and pack and play ready for my little one upon arrival! This was extremely helpful and definitely took some stress off our shoulders! Not to mention, made life easier for our 1 year old! Thank you Katie and Cody for welcoming your home to us!

We came down for a weeks vacation brought two boats, plenty of space on the docks. Communication with Meredith was great. Great location.

We almost stayed at a hotel, but I saw Christian’s place pop up and it looked like a fun place for the family. It is so awesome! It is exactly as described.and more . He uses every inch of that awesome property for something fun. It’s also a close drive or bike ride to so many things. We took almost all of his suggestions on places to eat and things to do and they were right on. The last night we all chilled outside and projected the Goonies on the outdoor screen and had some good relaxing family time. He is an excellent host and is so helpful. We are all so happy we chose his Airbnb.. Thank you so much, Christian! You are one of a kind and your place is so cool.

Beautiful, well appointed home in the middle of the keys within driving distance to all the tourist attractions and restaurants. We are a 3 generation trip with grandparents and kids, and this house had it all! 3 bedrooms, each with excellent ocean views, great kitchen, kayaks and bikes in the garage, and incredible outdoor seating area! Highly recommended for families.

Just what our family needed. As a new Florida resident it’s safe to say the Keys rank up there as one of my favorite places to visit. Rhonda’s home felt like our home. We enjoyed the pool and bikes. A local restaurant The Bent Prop bar and grill was a treasured find. My husband and I met the owner who is from the same area as us in Maryland. If you’ve ever wondered what Maryland Cream of Crab soup taste like… that’s the place to get it from! Can’t wait to book us again for next year!

Had a wonderful time at Salty Kisses. The area was beautiful and we were able to relax with the stunning views of the backyard. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and even outside for entertainment. Lazaro was very attentive making sure everything was good. Neighborhood was quiet. We spent a lot of time in the pool, grilling, and out on the water which was easily accessible with the dock at the front of the house. The whole family was in love with the decorations of the house which were truly beautiful and making us feel right at home. Thank you Laz and Leslie!

Wonderful Stay! Place was super clean and nicely decorated with minimal decor. (Sometimes places are over decorated and busy) Beach Towels were provided. Kitchen was organized & clean. Pool was nice! We brought our small dogs and the grounds were very pet friendly. Jessica’s recommended list of restaurants was spot on! Had a great time eating at several of the places. Would visit again and recommend to others.

If I could rate this stay a 20, I would. We came across the listing last June, after wanting to try something different on our annual trip to Marathon. It looked perfect for our family. What I didn’t expect when we arrived on April 16, 2025, was to be blown away. The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is STUNNING. I felt like we were walking in/staying at a brand new house as the very first guests. The colors, the furnishings, the level of coziness brought to this luxury beach house was unmatched. The towels (bath and beach) were plush and soft. Pool speakers. The bar! I mean everything. The kitchen was stocked with what you need - high end gadgets, utensils that actually work, and every pot and pan (organized). Immaculately cleaned. And then the views. Holy guacamole. My dad parked himself on the main floor deck and didn’t move for seven days. Airbnb was right- RARE FIND. Amanda - you are the hostiest host in the world. Your communication was 💯. Incredible for a family vacation. 🏝️The property feels very private, clean, well decorated, and many amenities. We tried out the paddle boards and spent a lot of time in the pool. Had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Accommodations were excellent. Weather was excellent! Warm balmy breezes most days kept humidity down. Great place! Exactly like the pictures. AMAZING heated pool! Very clean. Ruth was an excellent host! She had fresh flowers, toiletries and even snacks and breakfast items to get us started! Most Airbnb’s you have to provide your own TP, paper towels, trash bags and soap but not here! Ruth had the place very well stocked. We will definitely be returning! The location and access to the beach and canal was amazing! We had such a fun time with the kayaks while being able to see all the wildlife and sail boats. The house was exactly what we needed. Jose was very helpful and flexible throughout our stay.
