Everything was as described! We were in town for a conference so didn’t have any extra time. Kara’s place was all that we needed in the short time we had to rest and replenish. She was flexible and responsive. The sulphate free mango soaps and toiletries were a pleasant touch. I’m overly sensitive to chemical fragrance so it was nice to have something there I could use. Much appreciated!

One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed at! Everything was as described except one thing. In the description it states it is a great place to stay while fishing at the nearby lake. However, when you arrive the rules state that you cannot clean fish anywhere on the property. We have a portable fish cleaning station we were planning on using outside in the weeds but decided not to after reading the rules once we arrived. If you are going to advertise the place as a good place for fishing at the lake you might want to include in the description on the Airbnb website that you cannot clean fish anywhere on the property.

It was like you were hanging out at your grandparents house while they were out of town! Mainly, I'm referring to the nostalgic VHS experience, as well as the vintage touches in glassware, etc. There were also modern features to appreciate (smart TV, furniture, and comfy beds). Sublime location for any event in Courtland!

We have stayed at one of the local hotels for years and never considered staying anywhere else until our daughter suggested Mechelles home. On this occasion, we had a special celebration in our family and other family members from the Kansas City area wanted to attend. So we decided to try this and spend time together in a home. We were pleasantly surprised with how clean, modern and lovely Mechelles' home was. Updated with comfortable furniture. The home was easy to find and accommodated parking for our cars, in the back of the house. There is a walk out basement, which was mentioned in the description. The beds were comfortable and the open kitchen/ living area fit our needs well. We found that our sound machine, used to help the 2 yr old sleep, didn't work right. Fortunately the bedside clock included one. Mechelle responded within a reasonable period of time when if there was one here. We stayed one night and had plenty of hot water for our showers in the morning.
