I had a wonderful stay at this property in Vancouver! The location is absolutely fantastic—just a 8-10 minute walk to the SkyTrain, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. Trout Lake is right across the house, which was perfect for peaceful walks and enjoying nature. The house itself is very creatively designed and has a unique charm. My room was spacious, filled with natural sunlight, and felt very comfortable—ideal for a solo traveler. I appreciated how close it was to the city, while still offering a quiet and relaxing environment. While the bathroom is shared among multiple guests, it was manageable and didn’t take away from the overall experience. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Vancouver who’s looking for a convenient, cozy, and well-located stay!

This is a must go place if you are visiting Vancouver. They were such a friendly couple! We loved talking about each others families and just getting to know each other. We came in super late because of our flight and she was kind and understanding. We felt like we were at home! And her garden…..I could have just sat there all day! It was less than 10 minutes from the airport and in a cute and quiet neighborhood. We were also close enough to walk to Walmart. Also, the breakfast was great too! Nothing like home cooked meal while on vacation! If we ever come back to visit this will definitely be where we stay.

I stayed at Margaret’s Bed and Breakfast for 8 nights and it felt like a home away from home. I loved Margaret. She is a wonderful woman, so warm and friendly and she has kept her home exactly the same too-warm, welcoming, so neat and clean. Each room in the house has a theme and is cozy with all amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. She would make a wholesome delicious breakfast for all the guests by herself which she would serve between 9-10am every morning. Everyone would gather in her kitchen, sitting on the dining table or kitchen bar and exchange conversations and stories about where they were from and where they were going. These mornings have been one of the most enjoyable parts of my stay here. The location is in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood just a street above the esplanade. Its a lovely 15 mins walk to Lonsdale Avenue which has many shops and restaurants. There r some restaurants even closer than that too, 2 lanes away. I will surely stay here again!

Great place

I was looking for somewhere close to a wedding we were attending - it was a 5 minute walk! I was greeted by the owner who helped me get into the suite, showed me around and made me feel welcome. No issues at all.

What an amazing place! Sylvain and Alexis are so welcoming and their house is in a green tree lined street in a very vibrant neighborhood! We felt right at home and got a whiff of Vancouver during our short but comfortable stay. Very recommended and if you make it there, take a stroll in the area and feel alive!!

Our second time staying here. Great location to catch a plane the next day and to explore the charming Fishermans Wharf area. Place is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Cindy even provides some snacks and thoughtful touches. We look forward to returning!

We had a lovely stay at Daisy’s place! Her house was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and spotless. The Flower Room offered a stunning view of the ocean and downtown Vancouver and, to top it off, an awesome rooftop to relax in and enjoy breathtaking sunsets! Daisy was an amazing host, attentive and generous with her amenities. We would definitely stay here again, thanks Daisy :)

Cathy was very nice and friendly. Sweet lady accepted to host our last minute booking within minutes. She was very attended to our request and provided us with what we needed. The place was right in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood, walkable to shops, restaurants,grocery stores and other amenities. Great experience! Thanks Cathy

We, a group of 6, had an amazing stay at Erika's beach house. Beautiful location with a calm and serene view of the sea.This property stands on the Canada/US border with the US neighbourhood on the other side of the fence! That was interesting as long as you remember that when you take a stroll on the beach so you don't accidently walk into the US territory! The house was spotlessly clean and well kept. Erika is a great hostess. She offered tea/coffee and snacks on top of the lovely breakfast that was included in the price. Erika and her husband Syed lives in the property letting out individual rooms. Since we booked all the three rooms, we kind of had the whole house to ourselves. However, they made sure that we were comfortable but at the same time respected our privacy. As usually Airbnb properties workout to be cheaper for larger groups than comparable hotels, we found this property to be a little too expensive. But no complaints as we had a great stay there. Great experience - quaint, eclectic home in a neighborhood about a ten minute walk from shops and the SkyTrain to get into downtown. The space was great for two of us. Had fun connecting with Katrine as well as the other guests. Wonderful host!

Unbelievable! Honestly an unforgettable experience. Island was one of the most accommodating people you will ever meet in your life. This is an experience of a lifetime. If you are considering being anywhere remotely close to this airbnb, book it now before it is gone because you there is nothing out there there will match this experience and I am traveling often. We had authentic Chinese food and regular full breakfast and despite the fact that we couldn't get a certain room, we got above and beyond with two rooms to top up the experience at the same rate despite the fact that it is more expensive.

We had booked last minute and Erika was so accommodating. Truly one of the best air b n b experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommend staying in their beautiful home. We couldn’t believe the peace of hearing the beach waves at night and the complimentary (delicious) breakfast. We felt right at home and enjoyed such lovely conversation over coffee. Looking forward to coming back and utilizing the kayaks and proximity to the beach.
