The sauna was not very hot, but the steam circulated easily, making it feel hot enough, and it was more comfortable than expected.After that, we cooled off in the illuminated pool, which was extraordinary and enjoyable.The kitchen was also spacious, and we were able to communicate with a large number of people. The bedding and water area were clean and comfortable to use. There are many insects outside, so we recommend that those who are not good with insects spend time indoors.The accommodation was really great.Thank you very much.

This was the first time I stayed with my pet, but they even provided a pet bed, and I had a wonderful stay. I look forward to staying here again.

We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay at Manami’s place. The hot spring was very nice after a long day out exploring the area. The location is very convenient in terms of being just minutes from the train station. The host is responsive and we could keep our luggage inside before we checked in since we arrived a bit earlier and went out to see sights. I would definitely stay again for the peace and quiet and the hot spring bath.

The beautiful interior, especially the water area was beautiful, and the surround AV was also good.We all had a great time.It was winter, so I didn't get into the pool, but it was bigger than I expected, deep, and fun in the summer.You can enjoy wine poolside and a great space.Highly recommended!️

Two families used it for one night in one car.The room had 2 single beds in the bedroom and 2 double beds in the living room, which matched the family composition.One adult and one child slept in the double bed, but I think two adults could sleep in it. The kitchen is also equipped with cooking utensils, plates, and cups.You can also have a BBQ on the veranda, and you can rent charcoal and tongs for an extra fee.We recommend purchasing ingredients in advance. It takes about 20 minutes by car to the nearest supermarket. The room was clean and the owner was friendly, so I enjoyed it.Mt. Fuji is also visible from the veranda, and it is a great location. The meeting place with the owner was a 7-Eleven, but there was no sign, and I was worried for a moment whether it was really the meeting place.

The home looked absolutely brand new. Beautiful inside. View of the ocean was stunning. Back porch was private and peaceful. We enjoyed drinks and dinner on the deck while watching the sunset and listening to the ocean. The morning view was just as impressive. Would come back again!

The facilities were great for dogs and children, and it was a great trip. I'd love to use it again.

Although the exact location is slightly far from major downtown areas, it is easy to travel. The room was very clean, had many amenities, and they were very clear with communication and expectations. Would recommend!

This was a last minute decision for us to stay here, so glad we did! The 2 hour commute to the airport the next day was worth it! So clean. Very peaceful. The sauna with the cold pool right next to it was perfect. And having our own private onsen was awesome! The house was really clean and looked recently redone and new inside. Loved it. Wish I lived here!

Hand on heart this is the coolest airb&b I’ve ever stayed. It couldn’t have been more perfect and if you are staying near lake kawaguchi you should defo stay here!Naoki picked us up from the station and dropped us back off which was incredible. He also left us a list of sightseeing and restaurants near by and the e-bikes were so much fun. Can’t thank you enough for making our time in Japan so perfect :)!

The place is located on the hill with the amazing mountains and ocean view and prestine facilities just as shown in the photos. You can also ask Yukitoshi san for the private boat fishing. It was very relaxing and fun at the same time! You can bring the fish you've caught to their restaurant and they will cook them for you. That was quite a remarkable experience! I will definitely come back here again! The host is very responsive and kind as well. Strongly recommend to stay this place of you are looking for something slightly rural and Onsen(Hot spring) experiences!

The host's wife was very kind and took the initiative to pick us up.The accommodation is on a hill, with a big slope, and you can see the sea from the terrace of the house, which is great for holidays.

We really liked it here and it fit what we were looking for in an overnight in Hakone. When we checked in, we had a few questions and the responsiveness was very quick! It was very clean, organized and had everything we needed. We were looking forward a casual night in, so we picked up a pizza from a local place which was right around the corner. When it came time to sleep, I have to say, it was one the the most comfortable beds I have slept in a very long time, far better than the one I have at my own home. I had a great night sleep since my arrival in Japan. Both the check in and check out process was VERY easy with instructions (including the PIN code for the key) provided ahead of time. This was a last minute booking and everything went well. This home is definitely worth the stay

A Peaceful Night in Hakone – A Traditional Japanese Retreat Our one-night stay in Hakone felt like a portal into another world—quiet, grounded, and full of intention. From the moment we arrived, Heidi, our gracious hostess, made us feel completely at home. Her warmth and attention to detail set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The ryokan itself was the embodiment of traditional Japanese design—tatami floors, sliding shoji doors, and a serene onsen surrounded by nature. Every space invited stillness and reflection. The atmosphere was unmistakably zen: soft lighting, the subtle scent of incense, and the soothing sounds of the forest outside. Though we only stayed one night, it was a deeply peaceful escape that lingered with us long after we left.
