House holiday rentals in Sutton-in-Ashfield

We had a lovely time staying at the Old Angel with a large group of women. The sheer number of bathrooms was super handy with the large group number, and the living and dining spaces were super functional for a group of our size. There is a one half freezer and a large fridge, which Nicola had left some treats in which was a lovely touch. Bedrooms were well organised and very clean, with towels provided. There’s a village shop right next door, and a pub 20 meters away which was glorious in the May sunshine. Nicola and her team were very helpful in response to any questions/feedback we we had - overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend this place to others!

What a fantastic place! We stayed for two comfortable nights with our children and dog and had a fabulous time. We had a picnic on the lawn overlooking the Vale of Belvoir, ran the dog around the many fields surrounding the house and spent time watching TV and playing with the kids in the front room. Richard and Jo had put out the cot ahead of our visit, and even had bed bumpers ready for toddlers. The house is spacious and well appointed in a fantastic location.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Fabulous place - we stayed for a week - with 2 teenagers, a preteen and our dog - great field opposite to run the dog morning and evening. Plenty of beautiful walks straight from the front door. 45 minutes to nearest place to eat out. Facilities were great - lots of swimming and football played by our kids. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a lovely 2 night family break at Peacock Barn over October half term. It's a beautiful property with fantastic amenities and perfectly located for exploring the many sites and activities the area has to offer. The swimming pool and games room provided the children with a space to play and have fun which was a key factor for choosing this property. The garden was great for our dog providing plenty of space to run around and secure, providing peace of mind. It would be the perfect spot to enjoy during the summer months. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for having us!

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us (and our dog!). The area is stunning, very quiet with plenty of nice walks. The pool/games room area is shared with the other cottages, which wasn't made clear when booking. We thought it was part of our cottage, which we were slightly disappointed to find out this wasn't the case. However, overall we'd still consider staying here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Salli’s place. The house itself is stunning, spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. It’s also perfectly located, with easy access to some fantastic hiking trails nearby, which we really enjoyed exploring. Salli was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. Lovely home, quiet area enjoyed our family weekend will definitely be back

We (3 friends) had a really nice stay here. The house was very clean and well looked after and the views from the front of the house just amazing. Comfy beds, plenty of parking and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great location too for our visits to Bolsover Castle and Renishaw gardens.

The house was exactly how lia described it. Lovely entrance into the home, living room was pristine along with the kitchen and bathroom. Very spacious area with 3 decent sized bedrooms. If we’re ever in Edwinstowe again we’ll be looking to stay in the house 100%

We spent a lovely few days at Scrumpy’s Cottage - it’s beautifully decorated with lots of quirky but tasteful touches. The welcome basket of goodies went down well too. Jo was quick to answer any pre arrival questions and she and Adam were perfect hosts when we visited their micro pub next door - really friendly as were all the locals. Super little home from home. This is a lovely cottage ideally placed to explore places of interest in the area. Jon always responded promptly to any queries, and the jar of homemade jam he left for us was a nice touch.

It was a very clean and tidy apartment with everything we needed. The only issue was the hot water in shower, it kept going off and caused a difficult experience in the shower. Apart from this, everything was perfect!

Kathryn very kindly accommodated us for some filming at her beautiful property. Her home was stunning, everything was absolutely immaculate and the freshly baked scones on arrival was very much appreciated! I’d recommend this home to anyone and wow what a beautiful location too. Thank you. :)

I can honestly say that this was the most spotlessly clean Airbnb property I’ve ever stayed in! The house was comfortable, superbly equipped, and in the perfect location for all of the places we wanted to explore. 10/10!
