Moiwa Village" was born in the first year of the Reiwa Dynasty. The accommodation is limited to one group. It features a Shigaraki stoneware bathtub (120 cm diameter) that only guests can use, where you can bathe with your family and children. The furniture is all "Calimok" furniture from the Hida industry, made from the Taisho to the early Showa period. Nishimura-Tei Hanare ― 100-year-old traditional house with kitchen & dining

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

A traditional Japanese-style house from the late Edo period. Fully renovated in 2019. This area is famous for its ceramic production, and old kilns are around. The location is 5 min walk to Tokoname station (two stops from the airport). A convenience store is few steps away, and, within walking distance, there are supermarket, pharmacy, laundry, etc. Good access to a duty-free shopping mall and a public spa & bath by train or bus. Easy to access to Nagoya(40 min), Kyoto(1.5h) and Osaka(2h).

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
