Welcome to Meisbu - in the heart of Sunnmørsalpane! The cabin was built for Christmas 2023 and is nicely located with mountain and lake views. Here you get close to nature with a short distance to both ski lifts, top tours and cross-country ski trails in winter, and mountain tours and swimming/fishing in summer. The cabin can also be a base for exploring the region, with a short distance to the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, beautiful Geiranger or the bird mountain on Runde. Bring your family and friends to a cozy cottage stay in a homey environment.

In the idyllic and beautiful Sykkylvsfjorden lies a newly built cabin/waterfront house, high standard, right on the waterfront. Quiet, peaceful, with stunning views of fjords and mountains, less than 10 m from the waterfront. 70 m2 plus large room at the jetty level. Unique design, large window surfaces, and rooms on multiple levels. One bedroom with a double bed, and a large sofa bed in the loft/TV room. Tiled bathroom by bedroom. The lower floor with double gate, view of the fjord, and with its own toilet/laundry room and fridge/freezer.

The apartment has extra ceiling height and the living room has large windows that provide an airy, bright and light atmosphere. Both indoors and outdoors on the large terrace you can enjoy the panorama in lovely seating furniture. Here you have mountains, water and outdoor life just outside the door, with fishing and endless hiking opportunities.

Cabin at Fjellsetra, Sykkylven

Spacious cabin with great views and hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski in/ski out) and nice prepared cross-country trails and floodlit trails are just nearby. The area also has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice mountain trips in summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy a fishing license).

We hope you will spend some of your holiday with us! Take use of free bicycles and a lake boat for pleasure. In addition, hot tubs and mountain cottages are available for rent. We are situated near several great communities. A car is recommended. There's electric car charger in the garage. Front door parking available.

The apartment is recently refurbished. Well equipped with dishwasher, stove, fridge, and freezer. It fits well for couples and families with children, food store 5 min away. Good for outdoor activities with short and long (mountain) trips in great nature. A perfect starting point for famous Jugend city of Ålesund, Geirangerfjord, Alnes Fyr and Trollstigen are just 1-1.5 hours drive away. Valldal climbing park is suitable for children on the way to Trollstigen. 15 km to outdoor swimming pool.

Vår håndlagde jurt byr på en naturnær opplevelse midt i hjertet av Sunnmørsalpene. Her kan du se stjernehimmelen gjennom takvinduet mens du sovner til skogens lyder. Umiddelbar nærhet til endeløse turmuligheter, bare 1 time fra Ålesund. Jurten ligger ved vår regenerative gård hvor vi blant annet dyrker bringebær og holder sau og lamaer. I perioder er det mulig å kjøpe ferskvarer fra gården.

The cabin is situated right next to some of the most beautiful fjords in Norway. in the summer you can experience whales swimming by, different birds and other animals. in the winter you can wake up and drive 30 minutes and go skiing in the mountains. You can also se beautiful northern lights (aurora borealis) here.
