Close to Ålesund, a perfect place to stay if you are fond of mountain hikes and want to explore SunnmørsalpaneFrom the beach it is also not long way to Geiranger or Hellesylt / Urke, and about 20 minutes from Ekornes Friluftsbad. 200 meters to the ski lift/100 meters to the water

Spacious cabin with a great view, with hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski-in/ski-out) and nice groomed cross country ski tracks and light rail are just nearby. The area otherwise has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice hikes in both summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy fishing license).

Perfect base for hiking and fishing

The house is located at Riksheim, Sykkylven in beautiful surroundings with great hiking and fishing possibilities. Most of the house was renovated in fall 2015. A spacious veranda with views of the fjord was added. A boat and boat house available for guests. Public transport is scarce in the area, and we do not recomend staying without a car.
