The interior space is small but the goal was not to stay at home, we like the fact that there are several things for the children, the pool area is spectacular, there are several leisure areas and the fact that there are pool items was also a plus. It has a very nice deck and I really liked the sofa, great for socializing. For me, the experience was worth it and I would go back.

Great house, very well-equipped, easy to make Checkin, clean and compatible with your photos. Our stay was very quiet and the host was worried to the point that we arrived and the house was already air-conditioned, since it was cold outside, we love it, super recommended!

Cosy and comfortable house with wonderful views over the valley. Great place to stay in winter too. We enjoyed New Year's Eve here. The place reminded us of our grandmother's house. José is such a nice person. Hope we can come back in summer to try the swimming pool. Place is quiet. It's also close to the places of Serra da Estrela.

We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well cared for and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. Beautiful private spot. Paul was amazingly helpful and communicative, any queries answered immediately but also he didnt invade our personal space. Perfect balance. Amazing host. Very relaxed and the house had all the amenities we could want. Definitely recommend.

Richard and Ishbel offer a very special home, allowing you to get off the grid and be surrounded by beautiful nature while also being very close to many amenities - gas, grocery, cafes and restaurants within a 10mins drive. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly, and live next door and are very respectful of your privacy and helpful with providing suggestions. They have a large property that is a paradise for kids to explore with rabbits, cats, dogs, ducks and chickens - and even horses across the stream at another property.

We stayed at Casa Rosaria for a week and really enjoyed it. We used it as a base to explore the region and many places of interest were 30-40 minutes away in various different directions. The renovation was beautifully done and the space looks like it's straight out of the pages of a design magazine. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked with everything we needed. Sarah and Steve were friendly and knowledgeable hosts and we highly recommend Casa Rosaria at Chumbaria.

Really recommend Vitor’s place: few minutes outside Coimbra and in the middle of the nature. Very good conditions as described in the details - it is even better than what it looks like in the pictures. Self-check and communication also easy. The only drawback is the access to the property with the car: if you don’t have a fairly high car, you might get stuck or scratch your car trying to get inside. Apart from that, everything is perfect!

This house is a true gem, an impeccable experience, from the exuberant nature to the quality of the olive oil offered to guests. And as if that wasn't enough, they even offered us some essential items for breakfast, as well as a delicious bread that arrives in the morning during the stay. Mariana was very kind and helped us with everything that was requested. My boyfriend and I love everything and want to return many, many times.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a hidden paradise. The place is absolutely stunning: remote, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful. The house itself is very cosy and comfortable, with a spacious bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a great outdoor barbecue that worked perfectly for us. However, the real charm is in the outdoor areas. Not only did we have a waterfall right at the doorstep, we were also able to enjoy a natural pool just for ourselves. The sound of the water, the refreshing swims in the river, the clean air... it all created a sense of peace that’s hard to put into words. Truly revitalizing. Alex was the perfect host: kind, helpful, and communicative, while also giving us complete privacy and space to enjoy. Super easy to talk to and made everything smooth from start to finish. Trust me, this one is a real gem. We already can't wait to come back!

Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect — the most magical location we've ever booked with Airbnb! The Mushroom House is stunning, with its unique architecture and beautiful, cosy interior that’s perfect year-round. The view is unbeatable — breathtaking sunsets over the sea, and we even spotted dolphins! The beach is just steps away with private access, which made the experience feel extra special. It truly doesn’t get better. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, always quick to respond and full of great tips (thank you Claudio — the Pastel de Nata at Dionísio was unforgettable!). Check-in and check-out were smooth and flexible, tailored to our needs. We couldn’t recommend this place more. An unforgettable escape!
