Marie-Hélène’s listing was very close to a gorgeous coral beach and she and her partner Italo were extremely helpful, communicative, and considerate. The rustic lodging was perfect for a relaxing stay close to nature. We loved our week long stay!

Location, location, location!! It’s a quaint, rustic bungalow located right on the beach. You fall asleep and awake to the dim thunder of the waves crashing on the outer reef and the gentle waves lapping the shore. The beach was great for swimming, sunning, and relaxing. A grocery store and a couple of the island’s nicer restaurants were only a 10 minute drive away. If you’re looking for a nice, basic, and affordable place to stay right on the beach in Moorea, this is it.

The bungalow was near perfect for us. This was a surf trip for my husband and his best friend. I booked for them and joined a few days later and cooked/tended to reef wounds. Although we don’t normally travel with a 3rd person, the bungalow offered enough privacy due to the loft with twin bed, darkness from the blackout curtains and the bathroom down a few stairs, situated below the sleeping area. Although we could have used a baking dish or sheet and some better utensils for cooking, we made due. Be sure to bring adapters for US electric items and don’t count on the WiFi unless the host makes an improvement. Despite these minor issues, I would highly recommend this place for surfing Teahupo’o and to disconnect for a bit. The people in the surrounding community are all very sweet and accommodating. Celine supplied much needed antiseptic and antibiotic cream. She brought us fruit some mornings and was a great host.

We had a great time at Frédérique's: private bungalow overlooking the beach and extremely charming environment with beautiful tiares, we can only recommend it and can't wait to go back...

We feel so lucky to have found this little bit of paradise on our travels! A stunning property right on the lagoon where you can snorkel and where you can watch amazing sunrises! We stayed in the beautiful big bungalow at The Blue Pineapple. Along with the beauty of the design, it was well stocked with all you may need for an extended stay! However, what really made this an exceptional experience, was the hospitality and good care given us by our host, Virginia! We can’t thank her enough for all she did to make this an amazing stay.! Mauruuru, Virginia! You should count yourself lucky to— lucky indeed— if you have a chance to stay here… We are already planning our return.

Great location just steps away from the beach. Tuomo went above and beyond as a host. Would highly recommend to book a stay there.

Great cute place to stay. Garden is amazingly organized with lot of greenery and flowers. As the host recommends, a car is needed to get around the area. Nice beach nearby by walk 10 minutes by car 3 minutes. Roasters start ‘singing’ very early. Host is very helpful and responsive.

Extraordinary stay at Nicolas', friendly, warm, welcoming … Nicolas helped us from our arrival in Papeete. Small fresh surprise on our arrival at the bungalow, Nicolas is very attentive to his tenants and gave us lots of good tips for our trip. The bungalow is just as exceptional, charming, ideal location on the island, clean, peaceful, functional and very close to the beach, we loved our stay at Nicolas's, we will come back 😉 I recommend it with my eyes closed, you will not be disappointed, that's for sure! Aurélie and her family were great. They helped us a lot during our stay but also kept a level of privacy for us. We loved their dog Jiggy who always comes around for some scritches. The place is quiet but close to the beach and right in the middle between Papeete and the southern part of the island.

We loved this place high up in the mountain with the view in Moorea. We felt very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Thanks!

We arrived after 10pm and Tituaua was there with a warm greeting and tour of the space and amenities. She had a cold bottle of water and some snacks waiting for us, and got us hooked up to the wifi. The space is exactly like the photos. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. There is occasional street noise, but it's very quiet at night. The shower was really nice and had good water flow for washing thick hair. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking if you want to. Titaua is a lovely host, we had a few lovely mornings sharing coffee and conversation. Also, her dog, Luna, is an absolute love who joined us whenever we were outside, including swimming all over the lagoon with us. We drove all over the island and snorkeled at all the public beaches on Tahiti & Moorea, but by far the best reefs and fish and clearest waters were right off our beach. The only challenge is that the shore is all rocks and you have to walk out a bit to get deep enough water. I really hope to return!

Great stay! Very welcoming and friendly hosts. The bungalow has a beautiful patio with a well-appointed outdoor kitchenette. Easy access to the lagoon for snorkelling (kayaks provided). Great location- quiet and peaceful, yet just a short drive to the ferry, grocery store, and restaurants. Highly recommended!
