The first floor features a spacious living and dining area, and you can enjoy cooking in the roomy kitchen. On the second floor, there are two 6-tatami mat Japanese-style rooms with tatami mats that smell of rush grass, and two Western-style rooms. You can use the entire house freely, just like you would at home. There is a parking lot on the property where you can park two cars. It can accommodate up to 10 people. As a base for sightseeing in Yamagata, it is recommended for long-term stays with friends or family without having to worry about disturbing anyone. The downtown area and the bar district are also within a 5-6 minute walk. You can enjoy walking to the city's tourist attractions (Bunshokan, Kasumigajo Park, Mogami Yoshiaki Memorial Hall, and Momiji Park). From the property, you can drive🚗 to Zao Onsen♨️ in 25-30 minutes, to Risshakuji Temple in Yamadera in 20-30 minutes, and to Ginzan Onsen♨️ in 70 minutes. You can get to Sendai in 60 minutes by train or bus. The venue for the Yamagata Hanagasa Festival, one of the four major festivals in the Tohoku region, is a 1-minute walk away. Zao Starry sky cottage

We have been operating as a simple accommodation facility for 6 years. This time, we have made some changes to the listing and are treating it as a new listing. The cottage is located in Zao Kyuyo Village, a vacation home area within Miyagi Zao Quasi-National Park. This place, rich in nature, is perfect for relaxing. I think you can refresh both your mind and body. The facility is a private rental of the entire house, and the property is about 600 tsubo. You can enjoy barbecues and campfires on the property. (It is not all-weather, but a tarp tent is provided, and it can withstand some rain.) It can accommodate up to 4 people, and the bedding (urethane floor mattress, sleeping bag, blanket, pillow, 4 sets of inner sheets) includes a sleeping bag, so you can also enjoy the feeling of camping. The sleeping bags are envelope-shaped, so you can spread them out and use them as a substitute for a futon. There is one bedroom on the second floor. A full set of cooking utensils and a full set of tableware are provided. An outdoor kitchen and toilet are also available. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. The host is Yoshiro, the 24th generation head of the Urushiyama family, who was born and raised in this house. The host's ancestors were samurai who lived in the same era as Tokugawa Ieyasu and moved to this area 430 years ago.Vivid episodes from that time are passed down.
