Family-friendly holiday rentals in Takamaka

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in dem Apartment. Es gibt alles was man braucht, vom Balkon hat man einen tollen Ausblick aufs Meer und ein Parkplatz ist auch vorhanden. Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es gibt viel Platz.

We had a wonderful time at Mary’s house. It’s located in the midst of trees with flying foxes close by all day, just beautiful! Communication with Mary was great as well. Thank you very much! 😊

Ubytovanie je presne podľa popisu a fotiek. Upratovačky chodili tri razy do týždňa, menili posteľnú bielizeň a uteráky. Každý deň vynášali odpadky. K dispozícii boli zadarmo na recepcii aj osušky na pláž. Všetci boli milí a ústretoví. Minútu od ubytovania sú potraviny, reštaurácia, lekáreň a nádherná pláž.

Un grand merci à Mary pour ce séjour qui s’est très bien passé, très réactif et très amicale. Une maison parfaite entourée de verdure et avec une vue imprenable sur l’océan ! Environnement paisible et calme, maison très propre, on s’y sent tout de suite très bien. Idéal pour les familles avec des enfants, car très grande. De très belles plage à proximité ( je recommande la plage de surfers restaurant à 5min en voiture ). Merci encore et nous espérons vous revoir bientôt !

Everything was amazing! The villa located just in 1 minute walk from the seaside. On the one of the best beaches on Mahe. Patrick is owner. He was so helpful, the transfer from the airport and back was free. Patrick gave us some fruits from his garden. He helped us to rent a car. We had to check out at 10:30 a.m. but our flight was at 9:10 p.m. so Patrick extended our stay for free. This villa has a room service. They cleaned our apartment every day, changed towels and sheets. The apartment is so big and clean. It has two bedrooms, kitchen and big living room. Fully furnished, with washing machine, iron and hair dryer. The internet is good, but not perfect. But I think this island doesn't have the perfect internet. We even could watch YouTube. I am glad that we decided to stay here. Anse Royale has everything you might need in a walk distance. If we come back here, we will stay in Patrick's villa again.

We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful home in Seychelles. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and came with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The location was absolutely amazing, peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxed getaway. A special thanks to Mary and her family, who went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. She was incredibly helpful, offering us great local tips and even arranging a self-drive car for us at a very reasonable price, which made exploring the island so much easier. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Seychelles. If you're looking for a peaceful spot with a great host and everything you need, this is the perfect place.

Sarah is the definition of a super host! Very responsive to all my queries but what stood out was the catering she arranged for Christmas Day lunch for 13 people. The food was delicious and consisted of local dishes and traditional Christmas dishes. Way too much food which fed us for the next few days. The house has everything you need. We had 6 kids with us and each of them loved the house, especially the pool area and were super excited that there were pet tortoises. Was certainly a home away from home. I highly recommend this property. Hopefully we will be able to return one day.

Detta var ett fantastiskt boende, rent och snyggt. Mycket bra med att vi hade tvättmaskin och torktumlare och även diskmaskin. Den lilla el-golfbilen var super att ta sig runt med på ön. Aliki var snabb med att svara på de frågor vi hade och Sarah som var vår kontakt och fanns tillgänglig på Eden Island när vi behövde hjälp med bokning av utflykter med mera var mycket behjälplig. Vi är mycket nöjda med vår resa och boendet. Stort tack till Aliki och Chris.

Nach Aufenthalten 2017 und 2018 waren wir nun wieder Gäste bei Roy und seiner Familie. Wir haben schon in allen 3 Wohnungen gewohnt und können besonders die mittlere (= größte mit zweitem Schlafzimmer, falls es mehrere Personen oder Eltern mit Kind/ern sein sollten) und die oberste Wohnung (hier haben wir auch dieses Jahr übernachtet) mit tollem Ausblick aufs Meer, empfehlen. Die Wohnung war super sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet. Die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Auch eine Waschmaschine ist im Badezimmer vorhanden. Die Lage ist zentral auf Mahe, eine gute Ausgangslage in alle Richtungen. Mietwagen ist notwendig. Die Auffahrt ist sehr steil, aber machbar (Klimaanlage ausschalten hilft bergauf). Die Google Maps Wegbeschreibung ist falsch. Man muss, wenn man am Busdepot vorbei ist, weiter geradeaus bleiben und nicht rechts abbiegen. Vielen lieben Dank an Roy und seine bezaubernde Familie für die tolle Zeit! Absolute Empfehlung!

Sara’s place is wonderful! We really enjoyed especially the sunset view from the balcony. The family’s kindness and generosity made our stay very memorable and enjoyable.

The place was exceptionally clean, surrounded by beautiful greenery, and had a warm, friendly atmosphere. My fiancé and I were truly delighted with our stay.🥳😍🥰🥰🥰

Wir waren mit 2 Familien hier und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit bei Josée. Ein Auto ist unbedingt notwendig. Basics zum kochen (zB Salz und Pfeffer) wären wünschenswert, alles andere war super. Wir würden es definitiv weiterempfehlen! :)

Notre logement etait parfaitement amenage et decore et fidele aux photos pour l interieur de ce cottage. Ce qui nous a un peu gene est qu il y ait aucune vue et que l on se sente vraiment en dehors du tres bel environnement de cette propriete . Nous pouvions profiter de la piscine, du jardin , de la terrasse de la grande maison la presence et l acceuil de Lenny est un vrai plus.

Mein Mann und ich waren mit unseren beiden Kindern (5 J. Und 11 Monate) in Cote Sud in dem Haus Fiori di Maggio. Die Unterkunft ist absolut so wie beschrieben. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr sehr gut gefallen, vor allem der wunderschöne Garten mitten im Dschungel war ein absolutes Highlight für unseren Sohn. Zwar hatte das Haus wie beschrieben keine Glasfenster,aber es gab glücklicherweise nicht viele Insekten im Haus. Solange das Haus gegenüber nicht bewohnbar war,durften wir den Pool nutzen. Es ist ein sehr sehr schöner Ort!! Jeden Tag wurden das Bad und die Küche geputzt und das ganze Haus samt Terrasse feucht ausgewischt. Die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche wurden alle 3 bis 4 Tage gewechselt. Alles top!! Allerdings ist das Haus bzw. Inventar schon ziemlich alt und abgenutzt. Die Wände könnten einen neuen Anstrich vertragen.Manche Dinge sind kaputt (z.B. Bilderrahmen, Griff am Kühlschrank, abgeschlagene Fliesenecken usw.), die Schränke sind eher muffig und die Oberflächen der Wandregale und vom Kühlschrank sind ziemlich staubig. Als wir ankamen, gab es leider kein Willkommensgetränk oder etwas Früchte, so wie wir es aus anderen Unterkünften auf den Seychellen kannten. Wen das alles nicht stört und eine einfache Unterkunft mitten im Grünen sucht, ist hier an dem richtigen Platz.

It was the 4th place we stayed at during our trip and we found it to be a perfect end to our trip. Eden Island provides a different flavour from the rest of (laid back/chilled out) Seychelles - pedal-ball courts, tennis court, club house, swimming pools, kid's park, private beaches protected from rough seas, yachts lined up outside every apartment, golf carts to drive around freely, the Eden Plaza mall with a super-store and several high-end restaurants, ice-cream parlors and cafes - everything you could need is within a few minutes of walking/golf-carting. Ronan's place was at a superb location. His communication was clear, helpful and proactive. The place was exactly as described. Very comfortable. Ronan allowed us an early checkin as well as a late checkout - superb host and a superb place!

Het appartement bevindt zich op een veilig, groots opgezet, goed onderhouden en schoon resort met veel faciliteiten die we helaas niet allemaal hebben kunnen gebruiken. Het bevat onder andere: diverse zwembaden, oogverblindende strandjes, diverse sportfaciliteiten en het gehele park is autoloos. Ronan heeft voor zijn appartement en golfkarretjes beschikbaar die wel op het terrein rijden en een bewaakte parkeerplaats voor een auto. Contact met hem is vriendelijk, reageert snel en heeft ons een e-mail gestuurd met enkele goede adviezen voor het bezoeken van mooie plekken en restaurantjes met Creoolse gerechten. Ook voor het bezoeken van de Seychellen zijn wat adviezen gegeven over de benodigde visa en verklaringen (allemaal online en eenvoudig uit te voeren). Tijdens ons verblijf was hij ook bereikbaar middels diverse mogelijkheden.

We’ve been upgraded to Sarah’s Maison since the primary accommodation was still under renovation. Everything was great and as described by Sarah. The whole house was like a dream and definitely exceeded our expectations. There were few spots like the bathroom mirrors, the kitchen sink, and the appliances drawer in the kitchen which were not cleaned and they were stained but it was not something that bothered us that much. All in all, it was a fabulous experience!

The accommodation was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. Every detail has been thoughtfully thought out to create a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. The exteriors were beautifully maintained, offered a perfect space to relax and enjoy the surrounding tranquility. In short this home is a real gem for anyone looking for recharge in a idillic settings. We love Eden Island and have stayed at or two properties. What we liked about David’s place was that it gives you a bit more space than the 2 bed, with its lovely wrap around balcony. Thank you!

Die Wohnung liegt mitten in der Eden Island Anlage und hat einen tollen Blick auf das Wasser. Sehr schön und komfortabel eingerichtet. Georges war sehr zuvorkommend und schnell erreichbar. Das zur Wohnung gehörende Golfcart macht es leicht zur Rezeption oder zu einem Restaurant und zurück zur Wohnung zu gelangen. Wir kommen wieder.

Fantastic stay! Nice pool to cool off in! Golf Cart to go to Eden Plaza! Beautiful snorkeling and 2 kayaks to paddle around! Would definitely recommend for a great stay!

Huset på Eden Island var fantastisk fint och levde upp till alla förväntningar och mer därtill. Vår host, Irene, var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam och var alltid snabb med att svara på våra frågor. Boendet rekommenderas starkt :)

We stayed for 7 nights in this lovely 3-bedroom apartment in Eden, Mahé, Seychelles, and overall had a fantastic experience. The apartment was spacious and well-suited for our group of 5 people. One of the highlights was the large terrace with a gas BBQ—perfect for relaxing evenings with an incredible view over the marina and the surrounding landscape. The location is excellent, offering peace and quiet, yet still close to shops, restaurants, and beaches. The apartment was clean and well-equipped, and the AC worked perfectly throughout our stay. While some of the furniture could use an update, it didn’t affect our comfort and everything functioned as it should. Highly recommend this place for families or groups looking for a relaxed and scenic base in Mahé!

Our stay at the house was absolutely incredible. Located in the stunning, gated community of Eden Island, it offered everything we could have hoped for—beautiful beaches, a playground, gym, and so much more. The home itself was both elegant and comfortable, with breathtaking views that we enjoyed while kayaking through calm, serene waters. Renting a boat was effortless—they picked us up right from the marina just behind the house. And the pool? Perfect for cooling off and unwinding. This is an ideal spot for a family vacation or a getaway with friends. Even if you arrive after hours, everything is smoothly arranged, from pickup to drop-off. Our host was wonderful—always helpful and easy to reach. Seychelles has truly become one of my favorite destinations, thanks to its warm people, delicious food, and lush natural beauty. Thank you for everything. I can’t wait to return!
