Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Please spend your time as you like in a special space that is detached from your daily routine. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, a town blessed with forests, lakes, and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture. There are many natural sightseeing spots nearby, such as the Kurohime Highlands, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. The building from the early days of the town has been stylishly renovated using natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster.We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". Winter, completely covered in snow, is dominated by a silver view.You can follow animal tracks on snowshoes and go on a snow picnic, or enjoy a campfire or BBQ in the gazebo by the stream even in winter. There are also 7 ski resorts within a 30-minute drive.It is also an ideal base for skiing and snowboarding in this area, which is famous for its powder snow. This is an old house-style building located just off the Nikko Kaido. Close to Tobu Shim-Imaichi Station, you might even hear the steam whistle of the Taiki if you're lucky in the evening. 8-tatami Japanese-style room (bamboo room), 6-tatami Japanese-style room (temple style), 8-tatami living room (retro style) IH kitchen, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, fridge, washing machine, gas dryer, etc. are fully equipped, so you can use this place as a base for sightseeing in Nikko, Kinugawa, Ashio, and Kuriyama. There is also a parking lot, making it ideal for touring with fellow bikers. Breakfast is a free loaf of freshly baked bread (home bakery). Mountain Biking, Calligraphy, Games, BBQ (The usage fee for charcoal is 2,000 yen per use. Dishes are available for rent, so please prepare your ingredients at a nearby supermarket.) Advance reservation is required. In the evening, I also run a tavern next door, so you can enjoy delicious food and drinks.

Rest peacefully in the tatami mat room on Japanese futons lined with pillows. Parking is also available for up to 2 station wagon sized vehicles. In addition, due to the enforcement of the new Private Lodging Law (Residential Accommodation Business Law) on June 15, 2018, government agencies are required to fill in the list of guests, and foreigners who do not have an address in Japan are required to present their passports.That's why we ask you to fill in the guest list, present your passport, and allow us to make a copy at the time of your stay.I hope this helps.

It is a Japanese house surrounded by lush greenery. The space available for rent is 120 ㎡ (about 70 tatami mats). 7 minutes by car from the Kan-etsu Expressway, Hanazono Interchange. Free parking for 4 cars is available. It is a 9-minute walk from Hachioji Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. Since it is a private rental, we can only allow 1-2 people to stay for up to 7 consecutive nights. Long-term stays are possible for 3 or more people. Please use it for sightseeing such as Nagatoro, Chichibu, and Ikuno, or for work. You will have the entire first floor of a rural house to yourselves.

The village is surrounded by nature for hiking to mountains and rivers. Some local families live in around the house, so please stay like the village people.
