The bed frame is equipped with a USB outlet, and the main bedroom has a Japanese-style garden with a waterfall. There are 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor. Japanese-style room next to the living room on the 2nd floor. The living room on the 2nd floor has a beautiful modern design with a lattice ceiling, the balcony has a bar counter, and the balcony can be used as an integrated part of the living room when the windows are fully open. At night, the balcony lights create a bar-like atmosphere. There are convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby. There are 2 free parking spaces on the premises.

We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.

The 130-year-old Villa Kaede, originally built as a guest house by a founder of Arita Bank, has been beautifully renovated. Visitors can enjoy a garden that showcases the changing seasons.
