Excellent Staff! Very well maintained premises, neat and clean but the highlight has to be the staff. The host was very prompt and helpful, prior to and throughout the stay. A little out of the way and secluded.Not much to do around the property, but that's why we loved it. Better with your own vehicle for transport. Pls do get the staff to prepare your meals, the best food we had on our trip to SL. Would definitely stay at pineapple Villa on my next trip to SL. Thank you Tushari, Hema and Randini.

Very clean property that's well built. Location is great with most restaurants a 15 mins walk from Telo. Room was very comfy and you have a secluded feeling. Very relaxed and peaceful.

Really beautiful villa, great attention to design detail. Service was friendly and helpful and we can recommend the home cooking. The food was delicious!

Herausragende Unterkunft, wir haben mit 5 Personen drei Nächte verbracht. Das Haus ist in sehr gutem Zustand, sehr große und schöne Zimmer. Wohn- und Essbereich großzügig, modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches Team, Frühstück nach Wahl, gut und frisch zubereitet. WLAN, Klimaanlage, TV, Boombox und Geräte neu und funktionstüchtig. Bäder sehr schön und geräumig. Pool und Garten sehr gepflegt und groß, Meer- und Strandzugang. Insgesamt eine besondere Villa die den Preis wert ist. Vielen Dank ans Team und die Vermieter!

The best thing about August beach house is it's location..sits right on the beach with lots of nice bars, restaurants and surf schools nearby. The staff were very kind and courteous and they keet the place squeaky clean through out our stay.

Words cannot even describe how amazing our stay was. Dilan, his mom and his brother made us feel right at home and so friendly to be around. It was their personalities and their open hearts that made our stay extra special. One morning I asked Dilans brother to make us a dhal curry to go with our string hoppers and it was delicious. He was kind enough to make sure we were well taken care of, as if we were their own. The place itself was spacious, comfortable and just simply beautiful. Most of all, it was so peaceful and we loved their kitty cats and their dog Shane. You can see that the brothers put a lot of love and thought into the space that they build and it’s so beautiful to see their hard work put into it for us to stay, appreciate and enjoy. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back next year, while recommending them to everyone.

Gads Villa is a truly magical place. The gardens are exquisitely landscaped, and the giant Velvet Apple tree is really a wonder to behold. The pool has a shallow section which is perfect for little ones, or for adults to lounge in. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed (important when traveling with 4 youngsters!). The bathrooms are likewise huge and very prettily set out. Beds are comfortable and the fans were sufficient to keep us cool at night. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, a few minutes tuk tuk ride into the main part of town. I personally found it very convenient to have yoga and a little spa within a few minutes walk. Secret Beach is also only a short walk away. Sahan and team were super helpful, and breakfasts were delicious. All in all a fabulous stay.

Sanjeewa and the team were extremely friendly, professional and accommodating. The property is spectacular and is like taking a step back in time and very well maintained. The pool area was amazing and the chef did an amazing job for breakfast and dinner with an abundance of food for us. Would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you all so much.

We (family of four with young kids) came across this house and loved it, but it didn’t have a bed for our one year old daughter, so we sent Vic a message and he went out of his way to find one. Great start! When we got there, the house was even better than the pictures give away: private villa on the quiet outskirts of Ahangama, but a five minute tuk tuk ride will get you to the town’s centre where all the restaurants and such are. Modern bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, nice kitchen and living room, beautiful pool, huge patio with a roof over it, monkeys in the trees in the morning etc. etc. I contacted Vic several times during our stay and always got quick replies with great advice - places to eat, tuk tuk drivers, surf coach and places to see. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again myself some day!

Although it doesn’t have too many reviews the place itself was just great and perfect for our first night stay. The bed is big and very comfortable and bathroom is also very nice. The location was good and although it’s next to busy street you can’t hear it. The guest house is separate from the main buliding which is very convenient. Definitely recommend!

Wir hatten so eine schöne Zeit. Der Garten ist riesig und das Haus war sauber und wir hatten ganz viel Platz als Familie. Zu Fuß kann man die Umgebung erkunden. Restaurants, Supermärkte und der Strand lässt sich zu Fuß erkunden. Eine tolle Nachbarschaft und vor allem eine sehr ruhige. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Familie hat uns sogar morgens Frühstück gemacht, das unglaublich lecker war. Wir sind sehr traurig gehen zu müssen und behalten das Haus in schöner Erinnerung . Bis bald , Anna und Tim

We had a fantastic stay at the villa in Mihiripenna! The property is even more beautiful than in the photos—spacious, clean, and surrounded by nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The pool and garden were perfect for unwinding, and the location was ideal—just a short walk or tuk-tuk ride to the beach and nearby restaurants. A special mention goes to Nimal, the villa’s cook, who treated us to absolutely delicious meals every day. Each dish was full of flavor and made with so much care—it truly elevated our experience and made us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the south coast in comfort and style!

What a great place to stay! The villa has many rare amenities, kitchen, washing machine, iron, sink, hair dryer, laundry dryer. Two desks is something no one has in this area! Most hosts assume only one desk, but we are a couple working remotely, so we needed two. The ergonomic chairs are a huge advantage, we've never had such good chairs when working away from home, we felt like we were in our home office with them. We moved the desks to one of the bedrooms and it was a breakthrough, one bedroom for us and the other bedroom as an office, both with air conditioning. The place was very clean. The scooter included is a huge added value, we used it a lot and can't imagine life without a scooter. Pinidu and his mom are wonderful! They have helped us so many times and have always been very kind, responsive, supportive. They are amazing people and we will miss them. Pinidu also treated us to a variety of fruits and regional foods, told us a lot about Sri Lanka, showed us temples.Recommended!

Мы провели в этом доме целый месяц и остались в восторге! Просторный, уютный, с прекрасной чилл-зоной у реки, где можно расслабиться и насладиться природой. Особенно понравилась крыша – идеальное место для занятий йогой. Кухня полностью оборудована, так что готовить было удобно. Кровати в спальнях комфортные, спалось отлично. До пляжа всего 5-7 минут пешком, а до серф-спота в Велигаме – около 25 минут. В целом, это был замечательный опыт, и мы благодарны хозяевам за гостеприимство!

Incroyable séjour chez Till et Claire. Un couple adorable qui a été aux petits soins avec nous. Nous étions 6 voyageuses et avons été extrêmement confortable dans leur logement avec air conditionné et salle de bains dans toutes les chambres. L’espace extérieur est magnifique. Ils ont aussi été flexibles avec nous pour le Check out. 100% recomendable

Haben 3 Nächte bei Josephine verbracht. Die Unterkunft war super schön, geräumig und hatte eine tolle Dachterrasse. Außerdem waren die Empfehlungen klasse - hier hat Josephine ein nettes Dokument zusammengestellt, das man sich unbedingt durchlesen sollte. Außerdem war der Preis sehr fair. Ich kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen. liegt etwas abseits vom Strand aber es gibt einen kleinen, süßen Einkaufsladen direkt ums Eck und ein super leckeres familiengeführtes Restaurant (Humbhaha Ahangama) fußläufig. Für die meisten anderen Sachen kann man besser ein Tuktuk nehmen. Hier solltet ihr unbedingt die Empfehlung aus dem Dokument beachten, Anoura war einfach super :)! Mein einziger negativer Punkt ist, dass es etwas in der Nähe der Bahnstrecke liegt und daher manchmal etwas laut sein kann - uns hat das aber nicht gestört. Sehr zu empfehlen!

The place is amazing It big size front garden backside infinity pool with ocean 20 meters only. The checkin was very smooth and we were greeted with very kind person caretaker. It was my birthday he arranged cake and all necessary items and was very proactive and humble ready to help, he took us in his tuktuk to buy basic groceries and beer. The place is stunning well equipped kitchen,clean bedrooms and hall. The pool was super fresh and was cleaned daily .Nearby we have many supermarkets and restaurants. It perfect for large families who want peace and family time.

The house was even more beautiful than the photos. We had a very nice stay there. The host was very helpful and gave us everything we needed. He also gave us the number of a tuktuk driver near us for when we wanted to go to the town of Unawatuna or Galle Fort. Thank you for everything!

We really loved our stay at Monika‘s guesthouse. The one-bedroom house is situated right at Koggala Lake, so we were surrounded by pure nature and the sounds of the jungle. The location is very peaceful. There is a joint restaurant closeby but still the house feels quite private. The house provides everything you need: bed linen, TV, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, enclosed bathroom and a washing machine. However if you need anything, the staff is very helpful. It‘s the perfect place if you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the town and love to stay in nature in a calm environment. We would have loved to stay longer. We definitely can recommend it and are looking forward to coming back here.

We loved staying at Shaun’s villa! Out of the eight places we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka, this was our favorite. The location, the villa, and being so close to the ocean was just what we needed. The villa was clean, well looked after, and felt really welcoming. Whenever we had a question, we got a quick and helpful reply, which made everything super easy. We also really liked the great food just across the street, which we could easily order to the villa. And being close to The Doctor’s House was a big plus – fun weekend market and tasty dinners in the evenings. We’re a family of four and felt super comfortable here. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back one day!

Der Gastgeber ist extrem gastfreundlich. Wir durften vor der offiziellen Check in Zeit einziehen und er hat uns sogar auf Wunsch einen Scooter bereitgestellt. Die Küche war komplett funktionstüchtig außer dem Ofen. Bei jeglichen Anfragen wurde sich schnellstens zurückgemeldet und ausnahmslos geholfen. Auf der Rückreise bleiben wir noch einmal dort und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für alles 🫶🏼

Was für ein Ort! Es war ein unbeschreibliches Gefühl diese kunstvolle naturbelassene Oase zu betreten. Keine 10 Minuten ab der lauten und chaotischen Hauptstraße, entlang weitreichender Reisfelder und Zimt Plantagen liegt das Ilukhouse. Durch das Haupttor führt einlandender, Bananen Stauden gesäumter Pfad zu einer hübschen Brücke und führt über einen großen Platz zum Haus. Genial für ein Badminton Spiel oder Yoga?! Alles ist aus Naturprodukten gefertigt und wunderschön gestaltet. Das Haus, obwohl offen, fühlt sich geborgen an, viele blühende Sträucher und handgemachte Dekoration vermitteln ein sicheres Gefühl und Privatsphäre. Unten die offene Küche und Bar mit riesig viel Platz um sich auszubreiten. Steckdosen sind an allen praktischen Stellen zu finden und das Bad mit der coolsten Dusche überhaupt hat guten Wasserdruck! Ich habe alles vorgefunden was ich brauche. Grosser Kühlschrank, sehr sauber und ein super bequemes Bett. Alles Handarbeit und viel Liebe zum Detail! Vielen Dank!

The place is really nice and looks just like the photos. Hot water, good A/C, fast wifi, working kettle and gas cooker, and the bed is super comfy. The host organised for my laundry to be done, and was very good at communicating. The only thing I would say is the location is a bit far away from the beach and centre of Weligama, so if you don’t have your own bike, it’s hard to get around, and also hard to get food as there aren’t many places to eat within walking distance. Overall good stay.
