Family-friendly holiday rentals in Tamarin

An ideal place to explore Mauritius, its beaches and inland and find calm, comfort and idleness in the late afternoon! Super equipped accommodation where you can feel at home right away. Ambroise and Ganesh's hospitality is remarkable. Attentive, available and concerned with our installation. I can only confirm the many testimonials in this sense that we had read before coming: everything is true! and perfect:-)

a superb holiday in a faithful and comfortable rental. adapted and dunctional pool. Good hygiene and a verandah with ocean views. the furniture is in the theme of the island and gives a lot of charm to the stay. the only downside is the weak wifi in some rooms of the house, otherwise there is nothing to say. very good stay and the pool was a plus for all the family. The concierge is really great and responsive.

My wife and I stayed in Nicolas' home on our honeymoon, and we could not have been happier. Nicolas' brother, Armand, was generous enough not only to pick us up at the airport (about 45 minutes away from the home), but also to show us a good breakfast spot and eat with us on the beach, find us a car to rent and then drive us to the car rental place and help us coordinate, jump our car later in the week when it wouldn't start, and stock the fridge with a few essentials. Aside from his incredible hospitality, the house is a dream: four gorgeous bedrooms (the one we stayed in even had air conditioning!), and an unbeatable view from two patios that we ate breakfast on every morning. The house is conveniently located to great beaches and Mauritius tourist attractions (Casela Nature Park, Black River Gorges, Tamarin Falls, just to name a few, and not too far of a drive from the south's main attractions either). If we ever return to Mauritius, it will definitely be to this home!

We stayed for a week at Harry and Malini's. The accommodation is very well located, close to the sea and shops. I have nothing else to say, our week was excellent! Thanks to them for hosting us and for their kindness.

great stay! the villa is very large with 4 suites...with bathroom and outdoor shower. and large space. the beautiful and amazing pool! we also took the services of Poorinha who is very helpful and cooks wonderfully! in summary: excellent stay in the villa just a note about the condition of the house which is fine but is starting to age a little.

Lovely flat. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach one way and 10 minutes the other way Parking is easy, good internet. And excellent value and communications. The big tv was great during the cyclone. We just used our Netflix account. A few small downsides The Hottub is run down and cloudy The terrace furniture is old and worn. If it rains you won’t be able to use the cushions for days. The kitchen could be better equipped. Wouldn’t have been an issue save for the cyclone None of those things were big issues for us We would definitely return. 6 days there cost the same as 2 days in our hotel in Belle Mare.

The location in the middle of the national park is fantastic. Quiet and safe without a rental car, however, you can't get very far here. The house was much nicer than you could guess before and the perfectly furnished kitchen surprised us very much. We have never had such good amenities in an Airbnb Everything was clean and tidy and we really enjoyed the time. The pool was pleasant and the air conditioners in the rooms worked very well. Only in the living area it was very warm, unfortunately you could not spend a longer time. Mosquito spray is highly recommended, but that applies to the whole island. Thank you for the great time.

Florian's house perfect to me and my friend! We had a absolutely pleasant 2 weeks here. The house is in a quiet street, like a villa place, pure living area. Means not many restaurants nearby, but there is a perfect kitchen with all necessary equipments, we can cook whatever we want. The house not far from the center of Port Louis as well as big malls. It’s convenient for stay. I highly recommend this place and definitely will book again if I come to Mauritius in the future.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights and it was fantastic. The property and the entire estate complex, in which the property is situated, is a delight. Mr. Roelf provided with very specific instructions for checking in and provided with necessary information. The amenities provided by him were amazing, including board games and tennis rackets and scooters to commute within the estate complex. It has a great tennis court. Now, specifically the situation of the property is such that it's overlooking the mountains and estate itself serves as a private yacht parking for individual houses. The view is beautiful even when you're simply relaxing at the private deck. The location point could serve as a central point for going either way to Tamarin,Le Morne,Casela Park,Seven Colored earth and Grand Bassin. There are a couple of supermarkets within 3 kms range. The only missing thing was a water purifier for drinking water at the property. Rest all was great. Overall, a wonderful experience

The villa was great value for money. There were 9 of us (5 adults and 4 children) and we had plenty of space. The location was great as we walked onto the main road to get food or shopping each night. The walk to the beach was very short too and was nice to be able to watch the sunset there. The host was very responsive to questions and requests we had. Would like to come and stay again.

We had a great stay at a very nice place. The premises are very spacious, beautifully equipped and the roof terrace is a real highlight! We used both the Jacuzzi and the pool and can recommend both. Flic en Flac is a lively place with restaurants and bars and good shopping. The jumbo supermarket in the village has good opening hours and a wide range of products. The location of the accommodation is great for the beach and many other activities in other parts of the island. The bus station is right on the street next to the house, which is great for excursions. The landlords and also the security staff are very, very nice, helpful and always available. We had a great time and would love to come back.

The house made our stay. It’s quite private and has lovely outside seating. A little paradise. Le Morne beach is a five minute walk, great for snorkling and swimming . You are facing due west so wonderful sunsets. The house was regularly cleaned by lovely Christine and Elizabeth the owner always responded to our requests. I can’t recommend it enough and we would definitely go back .

Great villa. Had a nice week there. A great place to chill and relax. In a quiet area with very little shops/restaurants so definitely worth having a car to explore further. We cooked at the apartment most days. Good access to a mall a few km down the road. Good security in the building and yard.

Set in a very quiet street and a very easy walk to the beach and shops. The main supermarket as Cascavelle is a 10 minute drive. The apartment is just as described and tastefully decorated with everything you need for a short or long term stay. There's plenty of space with a large dining area, well equiped kitchen with an added extra of a water filter jug. Beautifully decorated bedrooms, one with an en suite and also a large seperate shower and toilet for the other bedroom. The open plan lounge area has comfotable seating and a tv. There is a seperate breakfast bar by the kitchen hatch area. AC is available in the bedrooms and lounge. There is a small covered seating area outside. I was able to put my car inside the property. Wifi reception is very good. The property was spotlessly clean and I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you want easy access to many of the beautiful sights in the south of Mauritius. We were allowed to spend 10 nights at Amelie's place. She's a great hostess with lots of tips and nice conversations. The property is centrally located in Tamarin, shopping nearby and less than 1km to Tamarin Public Beach. Through the hostess's garden you can reach the beach for magnificent sunsets and in the morning you can discover dolphins. The place is nice and big and has a great outdoor kitchen with living area right by the pool. If you have a light sleep, you may be woken up by car traffic in the morning. The southwest of Mauritius is perfect for hiking in the national park and many other activities. We would stay with Amelie again the next time we visit Mauritius.

Great stay at Isabelle's who is a simply amazing host. In addition to the many tips about the surrounding area, we offered a guided tour of the south of the island and put us in touch for a dolphin and sperm whale boat tour. Top floor apartment with superb sea view terrace to see the most beautiful sunset. No complaints, go ahead! Thank you Isabelle

Karine was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is quite nice. Unfortunately, we overlooked that there was no dishwasher and therefore had to wash up the entire vacation. The listing also did not mention it, but we assumed that a dishwasher would be available at such a property. Well, a small downside to an otherwise very nice stay.

Jean Christophe, his family and Agnes were all warm, helpful and generous hosts. The house and location were even better than the photos and the kindness afforded by the nearby family and the housekeeping team was fabulous. I will miss looking up at Le Morne from the pool 💔 but we will be back! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home.

Great host who can be counted on. impeccable bungalow and with all the comforts. Wifi, gated parking, close to the beach, clean pool. Possibility to have small Mauritian dishes cooked by a stove for a good price and hearty ready for the evening when you return, a luxury! we'll be back, that's for sure.

Housing that is larger in reality than in the photos, beautiful terrace with barbecue that served us a lot. Very quiet building with private parking space. Beautiful common pool. Very clean accommodation.

Had a wonderful stay at Coralie & Astrides place in Latitude luxury apartments . The service they provided from check in to late checkout, due to our late flight was great.They even left us a bottle of prosecco and a card for our 25th wedding anniversary, which was a lovely surprise. The apartment was as decribed. Better than the photos. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The Large terrace was a fantastic space for chilling, with amazing views of the ocean and Le Mourne. The grounds and swimming pool were lovely and never busy. You could always find an empty sun lounger. Shops and restaurants were within easy walking distance. Ruisseau Creole was a lovely shopping mall with nice cafes and restaurants Bistro La Poste and Happy Rajah are worth a visit for food. Thankyou for a lovely stay we would definitely book again.

a wonderful place we didn't want to leave from. Our oasis on the most beautiful beach on the island. The owner himself asked us. he helped a lot with everything. he also provided information about restaurants. great place to stay. everything perfect. recommend
