Hotel holiday rentals in Tambopata

I really enjoyed my time in Calca, largely thanks to David and his peaceful and welcoming guesthouse. David makes all his guests feel at home immediately. It's no surprise that several of my fellow guests were repeat vistors. The room I stayed in exceeded my expectations, very comfortable, spacious, great value for money (even a TV with Netflix if you want it!). The communal garden is a lovely place to spend time reading and relaxing. In addition, the guesthouse is located at the start of some lovely hiking trails, which David will be more than happy to help you navigate, if that's your thing. All in all, a great stay and highly recommended.

O hotel fica numa área tranquila e de fácil acesso com uma praça de esportes e lazer para crianças na frente.Minha estadia foi excelente. Quarto limpo e espaçoso, banheiro impecável de limpeza. Infelizmente alguns hóspedes não respeitavam o horário noturno de descanso e faziam muito barulho atrapalhando outras pessoas. Os anfitriões do hotel foram muito gentis e cordiais. O hotel dispõe de um mini mercado na parte inferior para os hóspedes.

Très bel endroit un peu à l’écart de la ville, espace, nature, tranquillité et un accueil chaleureux ! Je me suis senti comme à la maison. Je recommande vivement.

Everything was amazing! The two brothers that run the place are extremely nice and accommodating. “Mi casa es tu casa” is their moto and they made us feel it. The food was also incredibly good and a highlight of our stay. Overnight they made us a fire in the pit and we watched the stars. Highly recommend and we hope to return.

Jag trivdes väldigt bra här, perfekt ställe att vila upp sig på med bergen och trädgården runt omkring. Väldigt mysigt stort rum med eget badrum, gott om utrymme och förvaring. Skön säng. Mysig liten terrass utanför rummet med fin utsikt över bergen. En lummig, vacker trädgård, full med blommor, palmer, hängmattor och ett avocadoträd bl.a. David välkomnade mig så trevligt, visade mig runt och gjorde även iordning en bukett med blommor till mitt rum, från sin egen trädgård. Bergen går att se vart du än tittar. Stort välutrustat kök. Vägen är dock precis utanför rummet vilket hörs rätt mycket då den är relativt väl trafikerad. Och det var lite svårt att hitta då Google maps inte får in den rätta adressen, men David hjälpte mig att hitta rätt så allt ordnade sig fint.

Comme certains commentaires laissent entendre l’hôte ne répond pas très vite sur l’application Airbnb, mais rendez vous sur place et une gentille dame va vous attendre et est très à l’écoute de vos besoins! Donc même s’il n’y a pas de réponse je vous invite à vous rendre tout de déroule très bien! C’est plus le style d’un hôtel et c’est près de la station d’autobus! Un très bon restaurant près d’ici aussi!

What a pleasure it was for us to stay with Carlos and Norma for our time in Urubamba. If you are thinking it's a bit out of the way, it's absolutely worth it. Their home is beautiful and their presence is warm. We did our best with minimal Spanish on our side and lots of Goog Translate, but we made it work. They are generous and hospitable hosts. We would absolutely return.

Armando is a local guide who knows everything from the Tambopata National Reserve. The price you pay is all-in, meaning there is a pick-up organized at the airport by Armando himself, the food prepared by the chef is delicious (vegetarian option available), the daily activities (lake visits, night walks, piranhas fishing, spotting caymans and all other wild animals, etc) and drop-off at airport at the end of your stay. Every evening we got to eat with Armando and got to know the local life a bit more. We weren’t in the lodge that was indicated on the pictures but in a similar one. I think they regroup travelers with the same schedule to optimize transport/logistics. Armando was our guide for just the two of us and I can highly recommend you pass through him to discover the Madre de Dios region.

This place is a hidden gem!!! The views are priceless, this place is IG worthy from the rooms , infinity pool over looking the mountains, an amazing rainbow 🌈 it is family run business and swing over the mountains, this place is give you a bang for your buck. We were a group of 6 , they offered to drive us to Ollantambo train station to catch our it train to Machu Pichu . If you’re going to Machu Pichu this place is a must.

Just beautiful. The hotel is small and very relaxing. Everyone working there was so kind and helpful. It was a very chill and a nice break from hiking and exploring the sacred valley. It was a nice personal experience with the staff. Food was great. Breakfast probably could have had better choices but we made it work, we rented the two penthouses so we had AC which was needed. WiFi worked great. If you are looking for an Amazonian experience with modern conveniences, this is a great option! Also on our last day the taxi driver was late and we were freaking out that we’d miss our flight and the hotel manager kindly drove us! We are so very grateful.

Don’t let the lack of reviews put you off, they have very few bookings via AirBNB apparently. Our stay was perfect. We came for 4 nights at the end of our 3 week trip travelling around Peru and it was the highlight of our holiday. Rogelio, Claudia and all the staff are fantastic. They arranged transport from the airport (included!) and activities before we even arrived. The restaurant is amazing, we had planned to eat out for a few meals but after the first meal at the hotel decided to have all our meals at the hotel as everything was so delicious. The waiting / bar staff are lovely and so helpful! There’s drinking water always available for free which is so appreciated. The room is comfortable and stylish (highly recommend the AC rooms) and the pool is so nice to have to relax and cool down in after a morning excursion. The guides who work with the hotel are fantastic and very knowledgable. Everything is very reasonably priced whilst having the feel of somewhere much more expensive.

Habitacìon muy bonita y todo muy limpio y ordenado con decoraciones modernas y en armonia con el Valle Sagrado. Vista al valle Sagrado fenomenal y lugar super relajante y tranquilo donde pasar dìas de descanso. Pisina con vista al valle. Jean Paul super amable y super reattivo en ayudar sobre cualquier duda; muy acogedor.

The hotel has air conditioning and a decent breakfast on the top floor. It’s a 15-20 minute walk from the main square. There’s some good empanada spots near by.

Bardzo polecam, czysto i super lokalizacja

Makasai fue muy amable y flexible con sus indicaciones y, la estancia fue muy agradable. Mi familia se sintió cómoda allí.

Empiezo varias de mis reseñas sobre los lugares en los que me alojo en Perú, afirmando que me he alojado en muchos lugares de Perú. Es verdad. Me alojé en muchos hoteles del Valle Sagrado. El hotel que la Srta. Silvia y su familia han reunido es absolutamente increíble. Todo está bien pensado y es estéticamente agradable. Tienen el servicio a una ciencia. Usted está a poca distancia de la ciudad de Huayabama, que es la ubicación perfecta, ya que ofrece un "fuera de los caminos trillados" y un ambiente tranquilo. Se pueden ver las estrellas por la noche - me refiero a ver realmente las estrellas. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y están meticulosamente limpias. Todo se siente tranquilo. Hágase un favor. Quédese aquí una semana, un mes, pero probablemente no más ;-) Srta. Silvia y su familia son increíbles.
