I really liked the house, all the photos correspond to reality. Very cozy and there is a fireplace, which made us very happy. There is also hot water , which does not run out , which is rare enough for this area. Beautiful garden, everything is very clean and well maintained. Very communicative host. The view from the restaurant is very picturesque. We will definitely come back here again, this is the best place we stayed in North Bali.

We had a very nice long stay at Wayam's place. The local family that run this lovely little bnb has been impeccably helpful and sweet, making our journey in nusa area very pleasant. A special thank you for Risa, she has fulfils all our needs with love and a big smile. The place overall it's very cosy and private. The breackfast its basic but made with care. The room it's confortable, clean and the bed it's soft. The out door pool it's nice making the spot more enjoyable. We can definitely reccomend Wayan's bnb.

Great Value for money! The room got cleaned daily, communication was too notch and in house laundry service was fast and easy! We will definitely stay here again when coming back to Ubud!

If you are looking for a place to call ‘home’ while visiting Ubud, this is the right place for you! This place has exceeded my expectations in every single way possible and all you can see on the photos are accurate. Super peaceful area, hidden away in the rice fields but not far away from the town centre , very clean rooms (they get cleaned every day) and beautiful shared outdoor area. And the most important…Ali and his team are exceptional in making sure that all guests are well looked after by helping you out with everything you need. They also offer numerous guided tours and pick up from the Airport. If you are wanting to learn more about Balinese culture / places to visit, Ali is the right person to speak to! I will definitely be coming back in the near future. Thanks for everything Ali & Team! 🙏🏼

Communications with Wayan were prompt, courteous and helpful. Note that Wayan speaks and texts in his Indonesian language. On-site house steward "Made" was terrific - he and his staff took care of everything upon arrival and during our stay. Excellent service! The "Villa Wedang Tea" unit was clean, romantic and a bit tropical exotic - with a patio view overlooking the swimming pool and a dense green landscaped rice terrace ravine (not the heavily tourist-trafficed rice terraces). No monkeys. ;-) Breakfast on the patio was the BEST. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Wayan's home. Positive feedback. We hope to return again...!

This place was just about as good as you can ask for on a trip to Ubud. It had modern elements fused with some rustic elements. Comfortable bed, hot&cold water, internet, cable tv...and nice pools and public sitting areas for all your relaxing needs. For an honest review you should be well aware that you are living with the "jungle" creatures most anywhere you go in Bali. So be prepared for the geckos, marching ants, and the occasional spider. The staff is more than willing and experienced to help if any of these things becomes a dramatic issue. The location is not "in the center of things/Ubud", but honestly its not supposed to be. There are various transport options which are reasonably priced to get you too and from town which is typically a 5-7 minute drive away. The Area is being developed and does need some improvement on road infrastructure but dont let that detract you from choosing this property. The staff do a wonderful job of seeing to your every need and request. The breakfast is good and the restaurant menu options were being updated while we were there which should only add to its improvement. Overall if you want to spend time in Ubud and surrounding areas and you are looking for a relaxing place to begin and end your days, the Monday Villa (or any of the other villas on the property) will easily be a great option.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect! Nice and quiet but still very central. There were so many nice restaurants near us and supermarkets. You only have to walk maybe 2 minutes from the main road with your bags so that wasn’t an issue at all. 10/10 will recommend to our friends.

The visit was magical. Airport pickup worked and I was wonderfully welcomed by the family. Dewu was helpful and very accommodating. The little house was beautiful and paradisiacal. I had the Garden Room and the view from my cottage was really breathtaking. Every morning there was homemade Balinese breakfast served in the room. The food was very delicious. The excursions I went with Dewu were beautiful. Since I'm traveling alone, it was good to have a guide by his side to explain everything. He also made beautiful videos and photos of me. Since this place is more rural and not directly at the center, you can relax and come down there. There is a pool where you can cool off. I am super happy with my stay. There was also always the possibility to get dinner in the room. The value is great.

My stay at Maya Eco Retreat was truly exceptional and easily one of the best experiences I’ve had. This stunning bamboo hotel in Bali offers a unique combination of comfort, elegance, and tranquility that made our honeymoon unforgettable. The pool area was beautifully designed and personalized exactly as I had envisioned, adding a special touch to our stay. The floating breakfast was not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious, making for a perfect start to each morning. The staff were consistently attentive and approachable, always ready to assist with any requests. Their genuine hospitality made us feel welcomed and truly at home throughout our entire visit. I highly recommend Maya Eco Retreat to anyone seeking a serene and luxurious getaway in Bali. It exceeded all our expectations, and I confidently rate it a perfect 10 out of 10.

Beautiful accommodation, the best of all was the kindness and good vibes of all the people who work there. They helped us find a scooter to rent, they welcomed us with exquisite welcome juice, the breakfast was very rich and they even allowed us to do late checkout and they took us to the port at the end of the stay. We also loved the pool! We would definitely come back, thank you so much!

Korry was a great host, very responsive and helpful in getting us transport sorted from our previous location, as well as getting the driver to stop at attractions along the way from Canggu. The pictures do not do justice of the view from this room, simply breathtaking. The perfect location for a quiet time away from the city. Due to the location you can not walk to and from easily, but food can be arranged to be delivered in if you have no scooter to get around on. Reddit was a great host, very welcoming and helpful. He could not do enough for us. He arranged for us to do a walking tour with him of the local area and Waterfalls, which I'd highly recommend. The pictures of inside the accommodation are a bit out of date, the place wasn't as clean as it could have been...but you are in the middle of the jungle. The views and the staff more than make up for it. Great value for money.

What can we say, this place is special. If you want the perfect place to come back from your (sometimes intense) adventures, this is definitely it. Incredibly gracious staff, exquisite views, a beautifully designed property and rooms, and excellent food. It’s really quite impressive what they’ve been able to create at Maua. Don’t even think twice, the price is completely worth it. PS we left our passports and cash in the safe on our last day and it wasn’t until we were nearly at the harbor to catch our boat back to Bali that we realized. We contacted the team at Maua and they went out of their way to meet us at the harbor with our important docs - with a big smile no less! 🙏🙏🙏

Our stay at this hotel was just perfect. The room was thoughtfully equipped, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay, and had a great view of the communal pool. The place is a haven of peace. Even if the spaces are shared, there is a serene and respectful atmosphere: here people come to reconnect with nature. Quiet is ubiquitous. The staff was exceptional, always listening to our various requests and ready to do everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Just by the poolside, the restaurant offers both traditional dishes and more European options, in order to satisfy all tastes. Located in the heart of farmland, the environment invites walks and a breath of fresh air. And the view of the mountains is just breathtaking. We leave with only positive things in mind. The word “perfect” really reflects our experience here.

The place is absolutely beautiful, very peaceful, very private, with great view. The private pool is amazing and the hot tub too. Im sure you cant get anything better for the amazing price. The host went beyond expectations. They put flowers for us everywhere, something that we didn’t expect. Also they took our laundry to the laundry service nearby. Excellent host, excellent place!!

I loved my little Bungalow and the Pool

Putri is incredibly hospitable and communicative. The staff went above and beyond with all my requests, ensuring my stay was both enjoyable and comfortable. The lodge is extremely beautiful and one of a kind with stunning views and a peaceful/relaxing vibe. The interior is designed beautifully with unique features that you won't find elsewhere. I would love to come back as soon as possible! Thank you so much for having us :)

Absolutely amazing and beautiful place. Basically a small paradise just in front of your terrace

This has been one of the best value places we have stayed in over 7 trips overseas since COVID. The only issue was we discovered on the last night midges nesting in the curtains. We thought we were getting bitten outside. I think had we known Ni would have responded quickly and when we told her on checkout she was very apologetic and was going to look into it. Despite that we will be booking again for next year

There was a mixup at check-in and we had to be relocated to their other hotel (like 2 minutes away) for the first night, but we liked it so much there that we actually decided to stay! Super cute aesthetic, very nice and attentive staff, clean rooms, great breakfast, etc. we also booked scooters and a boat to Gili through them, and it went very smoothly. No complaints :) A not too far scooter trip to central Ubud. About 15-20 minutes I think, but the location was absolutely gorgeous, so it was worth a little longer ride! We can definitely recommend ~

Hands down the best place to stay in Munduk / surrounding areas. Walking distance to the waterfall trail with 5 beautiful waterfalls and a short ride or scooter to everything there is to see in Munduk or the north coast beaches. The view is breathtaking and the staff, as well as the owners Putu & Adila, are so friendly and accommodating. Food is amazing. I will be staying here whenever I’m back in Bali. Highly recommend.

Amazing accommodation with a magnificent view. Extremely welcoming staff. The area is very peaceful and there are several very good restaurants around. I recommend it 100%!
