Our quietly located luxury chalet is on the edge of the forest in a small-scale holiday park, close to the village of Stadl an der Mur. The chalet is beautifully situated on a mountain slope, giving you a beautiful view over the mountains and the valley, with the village of Stadl in the distance. The living area of the chalet is 115m2, with a spacious and sunny terrace all around. In the immediate vicinity are the beautiful and cozy ski areas of Kreischberg, Katschberg and Turracher Höhe.

With four double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it will comfortably accommodate 2 families or 8 adults. The chalet has a gorgeous sun room with wonderful mountain views, a large garden and the added benefit of a traditional Austrian Sauna and Hotpot to relax after a hard days walking or skiing.

Paal 144a ski chalet

Our ski chalet is close to The Austrian Alps which means we are near several major ski resorts the nearest being the kreischberg ski resort, just a 7 minute drive away. The chalet is clean and modern and has everything you would need for a self catering holiday with the luxury of a family sauna. The chalet is good for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Please note there are extra charges for cleaning to be paid locally, see house rules below.

Enjoy the nature and landscape of the Nockberge mountains at Stubeck at 1640 m in our log cabin at any time of the year in an active or contemplative way. The house is part of the alpine village of Sonnalm Stubeck. Two managed alpine huts are within 10 minutes' walking distance. The artist town of Gmünd with its infrastructure is only 6 km away. The chalet is a paradise for summer and winter hikers. Areas such as Katschberg or Lake Millstatt are within 25 km.

In winter, you can explore the slopes in Kreischberg, Turracher Höhe, and Obertauern, or go sledding, or snowshoe hiking, ... Maybe you prefer the summer season for walking, cycling, swimming, ... The Red Bull Ring is not too far and you can do a city trip to Salsburg, Villach, or Klagenfurt.
