Sue Sern is an amazing host. She was very responsive and she accommodated our request for an early arrival with our elderly mom if her home was not occupied. We eventually arrived earlier than our request. Her home is homey. It stands out as having a lovely sea facing view. You can wake up and sit on the balcony to watch the sun rise or even have a cup of coffee there too. Has most things that one would need. The pots and pans can do with a slight refresh but otherwise it was OK. Straits Quay Marina Apartment as the name suggests is by the marina. You can walk around the marina and there are some restaurants, cafes and bars within the facilities. There is also a supermarket too. To get to Gurney and Georgetown is easy and fast. We came to Penang to catch up with friends and for the food. And Sue Sern's home was perfect with its convenient location. Lastly, again, we thank Sue Sern for a great stay.

Perhaps the sofa at living room can replace with more comfortable one as the sofa seat is sinking😅

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The sea view was absolutely stunning, it was my favorite part of the stay. As someone who finds peace and healing by looking at the ocean, this view truly touched my heart. My family also really enjoyed our time there and felt very comfortable. Wonderful Stay with Thoughtful Touches! (*´꒳`*) Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. A huge thank you to the Soon Lye for the delicious snacks prepared for our late-night arrival—it was such a warm and welcoming gesture after a long journey. The location was convenient, and the communication was excellent. We truly felt at home and would love to stay here again. Highly recommend this lovely accommodation!

The place is suitable for a couple or family with young child. A very nice and convenient location to almost all the nice spots. A short drive to places like Gurney, Pulau Tikus, Tanjung Bunggah and Ferringhi. There are quite a few restaurants and a grocer (Mercato) within the same building.

非常舒适的居住体验，视野非常好，离海滩只需要步行两分钟，公寓的泳池也非常舒服，时常有乌鸦降落在泳池边喝水。房东非常及时回复消息，并推荐很多美味的餐厅～我们是家人出行，以后来槟城还会选择这里！

Run by a lettings agency. Agent assigned was very helpful and responded fast. the space was larger than normal. very spacious. it is a corner unit, so had a bigger than normal balcony to catch the sun. even though only on 2nd floor, I am still able to see the sea from an angle. very easy access to quality supermarket just downstairs. lots of high end restaurants nearby. Fittings are of good quality, but starting to show age. there were some minor damages to furniture & bad mould in guest toilet ceiling. On plus side, weekly cleaning was provided & Agency was kind enough to provide what I asked, eg. extra towels, bigger soup pan, bug spray(cockroaches)…etc. felt comfortable during our stay, and was excellent value for the price paid.

Shi's place was a nice stay. The unit is good size, and is very well equipped. There are a few restaurants and cafes around, with a nice grocery store across the street. It is technically within walking distance of Gurney and Quayside, but with the weather I only did those walks in the evening when it's cooler. Otherwise I took Grab. A few downsides, as others have mentioned, the building has lots of Airbnb's and the lifts can become quite busy. Also the unit is a few stories above the pool, which can be a bit noisy in the mornings if you are a later sleeper.

The place is located at the Marina in Penang - a nice spot of its own with restaurants, entertainment and a small mall. The apartment is equipped and suitable for short term and outgoing guests enjoying a marina lifestyle with waterfront, bars and restaurants. The place has a spacious balcony to enjoy the view over the marina site and its strolling visitors. Some construction work has started for creating an additional island across the marina with a slight visual impact on the view from the apartment.

The property was everything as described. Clean and well equipped. Great location. Close to a wide range of eating options and close to public transport, including the bus into town and the airport. The hosts were excellent and helpful in their communications which made our planning and stay worry free. It made for an excellent and enjoyable stay for us. Thanks you very much Veehaus! Easily one of the best AirBnB hosts in our experience.

Great place (clean and well supplied) with a great location. The pool and gym were fantastic as well. Amazing restaurants downstairs and very convenient to get around. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed staying here. The apartment was very clean and well stocked! Great view of the beach/city and walking distance from shopping centres. Would highly recommend.

We were a party of 4 and we had a wonderful 3-night stay. There was some confusion over the way the AC magnet keys (this was essential to operate the AC units: 1 key per AC) were combined with the door keys but it was all in the way that the owners wanted to encourage energy saving. We had an issue with the permutations of leaving enough AC keys for those remaining in the unit and those who were going out to be able to use the key card for entering the building. The owner responded promptly and explained how it all worked. In particular, the washer in the unit was extremely useful. There was enough detergent to use and ample space to dry our clothes in the "yard". The TV was not as easy to use but we didn't mind as we were able to connect our laptop to watch our own Netflix. Everything else was convenient and we would gladly return!

Definately repeat if we staycation at penang next time..the best house on air bnb ever..

Really nice place to stay, great view at the balcony and close to the food places around. Responsive and friendly host. Overall a very good experience, will come again in the future😄

We enjoyed our stay at Straitsquay. The Suite was clean and the bed very comfortable. We went swimming every day in one of the 3 Pools in the Complex. The Supermarket is very near and lots of international restaurants downstairs. Our Host - Johnson was very reliable, helpful and kind.

It is a great apartment, clean, comfortable, not huge but bigger than it looks in the photos. The building has great views and everything you need inside. Hoon was super responsive and they even picked us up from the airport

Had a great stay with family here. The place is as advertised. Host is proactive, friendly and responsive. Will definitely be staying here when it comes to staycation in Penang.
