Soon’s Airbnb is a treasure hunt from the moment one enters the house. Every small thing has been designed with lots of care and intelligence. The usage of space is impeccable. He has designed the house keeping in mind every small aspect that a resident might need. Be it the mirror with led light in the study desk or stocking the kitchen cabinets with tea/coffee refills or even the slippers kept in the bedrooms. The house is a visual spectacle and shows the artistic side of how a heritage house can be remodelled with modern touch. I will definitely consider staying here next time i visit Penang. Also Soon is an extremely responsible host. He kept me informed about every small aspect of the stay before my arrival. Even during the stay he was just a message away and responded to our small requests promptly within few minutes

Good Environment & responsive host.

Our family enjoyed the 9-night stay in this nice, clean, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped Airbnb in a great location with many nearby eateries and with easy access to the beach. We were given clear instructions for check-in and check-out. Despite the heat outside, the apartment became our paradise as we entered it. It has beautiful hill views from the sitting room and bedroom. Watching different birds from the sitting room and monitor lizards in the small drainage below the windows at different times of the day was an enjoyment.

I had a great stay at Alex's place in George Town. The room looked exactly as listed-clean, comfortable, and just as described in the photos. Check-in was super easy thanks to the clear and detailed instructions, and Alex was very responsive whenever I had questions. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous apartment with everything you need. Amazing pool at your doorstep. Laundry facilities were great. Easy to get a grab and get anywhere you want in Penang. Excellent instructions from host and very responsive. Highly recommend and will book again!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is great. It is close to the city and other major places. Moreover, the host is friendly and very helpful. She made us feel like a home. We definitely would love to come back.

Saya sangat sukakan tempat ini..sangat best dan bole tempah lagi.. Cuma lift breakdown agak lama nak menunggu especially during peak hour. Sangat best ada game console, cuma game nya kena banyakkan sikit pilihan.. anak2 saya sangat suka kan nya. overall sangat best dan highly recommended. Thank you so much for hosting us! We really enjoyed our stay. I have to say De’s place is one of the house we stayed that doesn’t skim on giving comfort to the people. De’s kitchen has good utensils, bowls and mugs that are good quality. In many other places we had been to, they’re not good at all. Same goes to beddings and linens. De’s offered cleaned ones and comfortable beds. Thank you so much for clear instructions and for being a very responsive host. We will surely love to stay at your place next time we visit Malaysia again.

Darren is very good , the house is beautiful and comfortable. The room is big and second floors toilet is very very bid .. he tells us all the surrounding place that can eat and shop .. dryer suddenly can’t work ,Darren came to our house to take all of our clothing to laundry .. good service .. very worth staying here . Great location and friendly host! Accessing the keys could have been simpler, but overall it was a good place to stay.

Excellent in every way. Where do I start… the location cannot be beat. Armenian street is THE George Town street to see, and it’s walking distance to many amazing restaurants, hawkers centers, boutique shops, street artworks, and other attractions like the esplanade and large shopping malls. The home itself has a very peaceful feel, oozing with oldtown charm, tastefully furnished, and very spacious. The beds are comfortable, the aircon is excellent, the hot/cold filtered water machine is super convenient, and the washer/dryer works well. Things to note: The bathroom ceiling is quite low- if you’re over 5’10” you’ll be stooped over, but they provide a shower seat. There is an atrium in the middle of the home that is open to the floor below and the shop on the ground floor. This is no issue, but something to be aware of if you have toddlers like us that are, at times, difficult to keep calm and quiet.

A spacious home that's perfect for big families. Ideal for those who enjoy hanging out together, cooking meals, and relaxing near the beach. The beach is within walking distance, making it very convenient. We were even greeted by some cheeky monkeys outside the house – they weren’t dangerous at all and just added to the fun. It really felt like a tropical escape, staying by the beach with a touch of the jungle. Thank you to the host for the lovely stay!

We had a wonderful 3 weeks stay at Win's Place. The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Everything was very clean and we felt right at home. Although the building is close to a main road it is very quiet and you have a view of the pool from the bedroom window. There’s a bus stop opposite the building where you can catch several buses into town if you don’t want to go by grab (have cash ready!). A grocery store, a drugstore and the Friday Nightmarket (delicious street food!) are within 5 minutes walking distance. There is also a 7-Eleven on the ground floor. Win was a fantastic host who gave us lots of recommendations and always responded quickly. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Nice booking and indoor amenities (like living room entertainment, cutlery, plates etc.) for a larger group, has a nice view of the ocean and interesting shopping areas/grocer nearby for convenience. The host was responsive and attentive to questions we had during check-in and the stay. We enjoyed the stay 🌷
