La Bodega (the cellar) de Casa del río is an independent one-bedroom apartment with private bathroom, kitchen and living room, built on a ground floor. The kitchen is equipped to cook your own simple meals (but not oven/microwave). The apartment is basic and minimalist, but it’s also very comfortable and has everything you need for a enjoyable and simple stay. The apartment has views to the valley, a private terrace with amazing views and an independent entrance. You can also use the common areas and the big garden. Please be aware that the apartments do not have washing machine, TV or microwave/oven. If you can’t live without those, this may not be the perfect place for your stay. Phone signal and wifi work perfectly and are quite reliable. Casa del río is the perfect way to scape the noise and experience first-hand living a simple and sustainable life in an Asturias village off the beaten track. The property is ideal for people who want to be away from the noise and crowds, as it is quite isolated and the village of Xio has no services at all. Closest services are a bar/restaurant/swimming pool 10min by car, and shops, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, petrol station, etc…20min by car.

Completely renovated in May 2023 with an elegant and modern style. We want to be a second home for those seeking to disconnect in an idyllic setting that unites the sea and mountains. Excellent location that allows you to get to know both western Asturias and the neighboring community, with Ribadeo (Lugo) just a 3-minute drive away. We look forward to seeing you!

Cozy house built in stone in the early 20th century, prepared to comfortably accommodate 9 people, with the possibility of another extra bed and crib. It has all the necessary equipment to enjoy a quiet stay, and with walking access to beaches and routes to the seashore. You can also drive to nearby places such as Castropol, Ribadeo, Tapia de Casariego, or visit Taramundi, or the famous Playa de las Catedrales and practice sports such as golf, surfing, sailing, underwater fishing or quad routes.

The mill has capacity for 6 people: 2 double bedrooms and a loft, living room with fireplace, TV, DVD, stereo, heating, fully equipped kitchen and dining room, bathroom, Wi-Fi, private parking and a 1300 m2 of a private garden with 3 different areas, a trees and flower garden, a picnic area and solarium at the top of the house with a gorgeous view.
