Great apartment, great barbecue area and nice landlord

Rozsa was very responsive, hospitable, gave us several recommendations regarding the area, which beaches to go to, etc. She offered her help to meet us at a certain time in the foothills and escorted us to the top where the house is located. The house itself is very cozy, well thought out, with many different interior details and everything necessary for a comfortable stay. This place gives you a feeling of privacy, but at the same time you know that your neighbors will be nearby. The view of the valley and lake was amazing. The first night the wild animals were a bit noisy and disturbing, for the rest of the week I think they realized we were there and didn't come back. Overall we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place. Thank you!

We join the other guests at Nora and give a full 5 stars! The only criticisms from a few other guests - the bumpy approach due to the street and cleanliness - are very subjective to review. If you have driving practice, have already driven up a slope in the first aisle and know that a gravel road can also spin the bikes for a short time, will have no problem getting there. Who knows that in an old house the floorboards creak and a bee will also fly by in a garden in the countryside, will have no problems with the house. In short, no one should expect a 5-star luxury resort where the staff removes the insects every morning with chemicals. All others will have pure pleasure:-)

we stayed with 6 in this place and had a great time. All amenities were available for a good bbq using the outside kitchen. Great location for exploring the area.

We had a very nice week in this quiet, tidy, surrounded by green hills, and yet we were soon there on Lake Balaton and other hiking places. The house is spacious, well-equipped, clean, and for those with children, the garden playground is just great. From the terrace, we saw the full moon rise behind the hills and a small bat slept under our window sill during the day.

One of the nicest place I stayed in Hungary. We are a family of four, the house was more than enough spacious. Everything was clean, seemed to be new, stylish and comfortable. I would definitely go back! And beyond, Tom was extremely friendly and helpful , gave us so much good recommendations. Even in Budapest, where we also stayed for a few nights. I can only recommend this little house, if you like it comfortable in quiet and a beautiful surrounding!

It was 5 of us four grown ups and a little baby. The house is very sweet and not big, but very cozy we really enjoyed our stay! You can find everything for grill and for kids, in general everything you need. The house had a huge backyard and neighbors are very friendly. If you want to escape from the city and chill in nature it is a perfect accommodation for you. Thank you 🌺❤️

In a wonderful location, an old fairytale thatched press cottage. The place itself is a slice of history, it takes you back to an old age, yet it carries all the comforts of today's modern world. It's awe-inspiring how Hungarian culture appears among these old, cool, and protective walls. The preservation of all the elements of this press house is a sign of great love. The family, the beloved, carries the marks of kindness with the fruit trees and lavender plantations of this place. The landlord and his helper are immeasurably kind and helpful. Anyone who stays here falls in love with the place, they don't want to go home or go home. In addition to the fact that all the vineyards, fruit trees, spices and herbs are all at your fingertips, the small inhabitants of the forest themselves will be honored if we wait patiently on the bench in front of the house, which rests under the shade of an old and huge walnut tree. Deer, wild rabbits, pheasants come to the house and curiously contemplate the temporary residents of the house. The pool behind the house is flawless, clean and warm.

Beautiful surroundings, quiet, tranquil place to stay. The rooms were clean and large enough for us to be comfortable.

It's a really good place, the view from the house is worth a stay in itself. The neighborhood is very peaceful, almost a separate effort should be made if we want to see people. And in the silence of the night, just a distant dog barking "makes" you feel from the village beneath the hill. If we don't want to spend our time in the house, you can hike the surrounding hiking trails, forests, and many sights within half an hour.

The host was really nice, friendly and helpful. The view is just breathtaking (getting up there via narrow paths with a car is not the easiest thing, but it’s worth it). The place is huge, clean and organized, it has everything that it needs, perfect for big groups: loads of space for socializing, outside cooking possibility, wine cellar, saunas, well-equipped kitchens. The decoration of the place is very unique, not necessarily our style, but it’s nice and well-maintained. Have I mentioned the breathtaking view?

What a fantastic place! Beautiful Appartment, fantastic surroundings and a beautiful pool. Kitchen was very well equipped and the hostess (Monika) was great, Google translate it was but it helped so much in feeling away from it all. Also the kids absolutely loved it. They make their own wine which adds to the experience. Went for a run in the early morning, very much liked the diverse environment. All in all we really enjoyed our time, the place is fantastic and lives up to the expectation. We might go again next year!

Lisa’s place is amazing and at great location. It is very spacious and a stone throw from the lake. Lisa herself is very kind and the check in was smooth and the instructions were clear and accurate. The kitchen is unfortunately not very well taken care of as the dishes were mainly dirty and stained and I wish Lisa was more available in case of unexpected situations because when there was a problem with heating I had to wait for 3 days until the problem was resolved which is not very convenient in winter time. But I can understand that unexpected problems might occur so after all it wasn’t that much of a big deal. However, I think this place is totally worth the price and I also appreciate that there are boardgames you can borrow and it is very well furnished with absolutely everything you might need for your stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to spend some beautiful time at Balaton. Thank you!

We had a nice time in this old villa with an excellent location and a wonderful view to Lake Balaton. Our landlady Lucy was always there when we needed some help, we got a nice little present from the owner, the sauna was good, but my favourite part is the balcony with the view of the lake :).

Absolutely great accommodation. The view of Lake Balaton is magnificent. The hostess supported us in every way and with all questions. If we go to Lake Balaton again, we will gladly come back.

Amazing place in beautiful surroundings. Loved relaxing in the garden with a glass of Badacsony wine and enjoying local produce from the nearby farmers market in the cute traditional kitchen. The house has everything you need for a relaxing family getaway. Will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful accommodation near Lake Balaton. The property is absolutely spotless, with a luxurious feel throughout. The outdoor space is truly stunning – a beautifully maintained garden and courtyard, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Another highlight was the charming wine cellar in the basement – a hidden gem that adds a lot of character to the place. Although no meals were provided, the fully equipped kitchen and nearby restaurants made it easy to enjoy our time. The pool was also fantastic – clean, peaceful, and ideal for warm, sunny days. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish and peaceful getaway in the Balaton area!
