Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Tarrazu

we loved our stay. initially reluctant to stay in Quepos instead of M.A. but it was great. no advantage of being closer and much cheaper and convient for everything else. pickup and dropped off for our stay and even showed us around and did supermarket shop. easy collictivo up/ down hill where we stayed( 1.5 $ each). easy getting to town to walk around/ shops/ marina/ bus station. cheap frequent buses to M.A. park. The place is very close to lovely walking area( free!!!) and spent one day walking chilling around. the place has everything you need ( host gave some salt/ oil/ coffee) . it over looks jungle so a bit dark but good to be , sort of inn it with all sounds and seeing afew monkeys etc from balcony.Stayed 3 relaxing days. Host very kind.

The place in the photos looks a little bigger than it is, but it's very beautiful and enough for two people. Everything is decorated with simplicity and feels cozy. The view is incredible, you spend a very peaceful night with the silence of nature and a view of the entire GAM. It's easy to access. The kitchen is stocked. Everything was great.

Bernd Y Irmgard were wonderful hosts; very accomodating and easy to talk to. The apartment was exceptional and very nice. They gave me directions to the grocery store and other locations. Their hosting was outstanding and would definitely stay with them again. They are definitely 5-star airbnb hosts!!

The accommodation is a complete apartment, with many places to be and a beautiful gallery. It has a very complete kitchen, with complete and very nice dishes. Christian is very kind. He shares local information and is very helpful whenever you need it.

The place was great. Perfectly located in Manuel Antonio. The supermarket below was also great. The only complaint I have is no check out instructions. I also accidentally left something and they never messaged me back about if they found it or what they could do about it. Besides that it was the perfect place.

Utterly breathtaking in every way! We can honestly say there is nothing remotely negative about this wonderful place! Marta and Douglas and Seoul (apologies for spelling) were so kind and welcomed us into what felt like their home. The apartment was immaculate, cool and so rich with wildlife we hardly needed to leave. The pool was welcome after a busy day and there were plenty of places to eat within 6-10 minutes walk. Mccaws, Toucans, Monkeys and a well-over 2m long iguana we named Rammstein were regular visitors on or in a tree next to our balcony. Magical! Breakfast was lovely and well priced with avocados freshly picked from their own trees. We didn't want to leave! Yes the hill is steep to get back - but the amazing Sandy and her pup Jack are always on hand to take you wherever you want to go for a great price! Rainmaker park is a must, with a trip to a Tilapia farm on the way back (weekends) to catch and feast on fresh fish. Thank you so much for the best time ever. Pura Vida!

Beautiful and quiet place. Just to disconnect from everything and really rest. Place with many areas to relax and truly relax. Lucia is super attentive and worried because you really feel at home. A orchard with fresh and delicious produce. I hope to be back soon!

Staying here was my favorite part of my stay in Manuel Antonio, as it was truly an experience in itself! The place is tucked away in a peaceful corner of Quepos, with an amazing view over lush green mountains. The apartment is very comfortable and I felt right at home, not to mention the patio, backyard, and bar are super magical. Most notably, Roy was an amazing host and I am so grateful for our conversations and his hospitality, as well as those amazing margaritas!! Nazareth as well was always friendly and happy to help. I highly recommend this stay!

An amazing work of art. Staying in the house was an experience in it's own. Come here if you don't plan to be too busy in the area. We saw more monkeys from the yard or walking the neighborhood than we did at the park. We spent hours enjoying the pool, the patios, and the house it self. Mini Price grocery has pretty good prepared foods in the back and we had a few dinners at home so we didn't have to go back out. Communication was great and he gave us great recommendation for local tours, including their very own night tour. The jungle is loud and the upstairs room has screens for walls. If you are not a noise machine sleeper, bring ear plugs or be prepared. We loved it. The room will multiple beds on the first floor is much quieter.

The nights are a little hot with no AC, but the view, privacy, pool, and house size more than make up for that. Plus Kent has provided a lot of fans to help.

The monkey house lived up to its name. We saw monkeys on 3 out of the 5 days we were at the house. Sam did a great job of communicating and keeping us in the loop. The home is close to the National Park and local beaches. The Mercadito nearby was also a great place to grab a snack and indulge with the locals. We will definitely be back. Pura Vida!

She went above and beyond to make my boyfriend’s birthday unforgettable. When we arrived, the house was beautifully decorated — something she did all on her own initiative and she helped me arrange a delicious cake and made the perfect dinner reservation for us at Mangata. The house itself is stunning: peaceful, surrounded by nature, and just a short walk from the beach. David's place is a perfect location to walk to anything you need. It was amazing to sit on the balcony and see and hear all the wildlife. We will definitely stay here again.

Compared to the other properties in the area for the price, everything was perfect. I wish I had read a little more to know there was no a/c but it really wasn’t much of a problem. Lots of properties don’t have a/c in the area. It’s common. Thanks Tina!

A very comfortable and quiet place, definitely to come back.

A taste of nature for sure. Birds and monkeys right off the front porch, and just far enough removed from the city that it was literally in a little jungle valley. Probably amazing in the rainy season when the little river behind the property is flowing. Very peaceful, and the land lady on the premises was always there for help.
