We loved this place. It had a lot of extras that many rental properties don’t have. It was easy for my blind mother to get around inside. Lovely open areas and appropriately decorated. Amazing!! Can’t wait to visit again!!

Absolutely loved Bourbon Barrel cottages! Beautiful setting out in the rolling hills of Kentucky. Lose to distilleries and restaurants yet out far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Angie was out every day tending to the beautiful landscaping. They even offer fresh eggs on-site. Book this place next time you’re in bourbon country, you won’t be disappointed!

John's place was the perfect landing spot for our Kentucky getaway! Close access to highways to get to Lexington and Louisville. We were able to get to distilleries, the horse parks, farms, and restaurants easily. The house was clean, spacious, and offered all the amenities to make our trip comfortable. The hot tub was a nice way to wind down, and the surrounding farm land and woods were the perfect serene backdrop.

I visited here with my two friends and we haven’t been able to stop talking about it since. I can’t wait to come back here. The property is beautiful. The hot tub is perfectly set up to view a stunning sunset. The area was also very quiet. The inside is so unique and inviting. Very very clean and fantastic layout!

I'm 100% recommend her place. The hot tub was absolutely amazing. her response time is so fast and she's very accommodating. next time we come through we will be staying with her again.

Brooklyn’s cabin was just beautiful. The surroundings were peaceful & the perfect place to unwind. Upon arrival we were greeted with a sweet personalized sign & snacks/extras in the fridge. The cabin was so tastefully renovated and perfectly decorated. The king bed was super comfortable. The house just felt very comfortable and made us feel right at home. Brooklyn thought about everything to make our stay just perfect! I would highly recommend this cabin to others!

We had a wonderful stay! Dustin responded right away when I had questions. We felt at home and had so much to do at the house. The barn was a huge hit with kids and they liked fishing the pond! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we need to cook when needed. The peacock visited us twice, he was so pretty! We hiked at Mammoth Cave, hiked and saw the Forest Giants at Bernheim Arboretum, visited The Jim Beam Distillery and downtown Bardstown restaurants and shops! So much fun, it made for a memorable birthday celebration.

We were in town for a swim meet in Danville. It was very easy to drive there. The house was very comfortable with lots of space for our family. My son enjoyed being in the hot tub after swimming all day. John was a wondeful host! Would definitely stay again!

What a great peaceful retreat, not too far away from Louisville. Great to relax with the birds chirping around us and not much else to disturb us! The place had a wide open but warm feel letting in plenty of light during the day. We enjoyed hanging outside on the deck and also took short hikes into the woods alongside the creek - which were so peaceful and nice. The master bedroom was cozy as well to relax in and watch movies. John was very accommodating to meet all of our needs!

Lauren was a great host! She was very responsive and kind. The home was amazing! It was perfect for our family vacation! We were able to enjoy several distilleries along the Bourbon trail and we loved coming back and relaxing in the evening! I would highly recommend this home!

We absolutely loved staying here. Very quiet and just amazing views. Seen deer,turkey,coon and squirrels. It was amazing to set on the porch and watch the daylight happen listening to wild turkeys everywhere gobbling and the bob white quail whistling. Little slice of heaven

If you are looking for beautiful, peaceful scenery, this is your place. Great for doggy vacays too. I took canvasses and painted outside. We didn’t get any bites fishing but still had fun. The kitchen had just about anything you could think of. FYI, the snakes on the porch are fake!! I found out the hard way. I would totally stay here again and the host was prompt in responding.

Very beautiful home, well appointed, and conducive to relaxation and nature appreciation. We loved the train sounds and bird watching. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and attentive. We look forward to returning!

Great house and host. Fully stocked, moreso than other Airbnbs we've rented. Private/peaceful place. Host was very responsive and kind. Will definitely rent again when in the area!

This place was a perfect getaway in the heart of the Kentucky woods. The house was a beautiful rustic cabins with a decent amount of land to explore and right on the Kentucky river if you want to fish or take a boat. A short drive to Lexington which has so much to do. I promise I will be back to this Airbnb.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Midway, Kentucky, then this is the place! Alex was a wonderful host and his place was squeaky clean, had all the amenities needed, and plenty of parking!! Alex was responsive and friendly and we knew he would be ready to give us any help we needed during our stay! Could not recommend this location more!! No hesitation!

Cozy and comfy cabin, however,no washing machine as indicated in the ad. It matters if you want to stay longer than a weekend. Overall,great place for great outdoors with even greater purpose of supporting and honoring our soldiers.

What a wonderful property! The historic house was beautiful. The house is spacious, clean and just great for all ages. The grounds are beautiful. Lots to do outside! Not one, but three play sets for the kids! Yard games for the adults. Lots of wood for a campfire! Tim & his wife are very friendly, kind caring folks! They have put a lot of thought into the amenities of this rental. We all had a great time & will definitely return!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bourbon Coop. From start to finish the experience was easy & friendly. The house was beautiful, comfortable, clean, & stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the interaction we could have with the animals! The house was perfect for our bourbon trail trip, centrally located for easy access to many distilleries. We will be recommending & returning to the Bourbon Coop!

Wesley’s home was more that we could have imagined, lots to do, fun activities and amenities, super peaceful environment. When we had an issue with the wifi Wesley was super helpful and responsive to help us get it fixed quickly! Definitely recommend for any outdoorsmen or families looking for relaxed fun!
