Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Tea Gardens

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Barefoot at Broke over the long weekend. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and felt extremely spacious for the 5 of us, plus our family dog. Located in Broke, the property feels private and secluded, yet only a short drive away from some amazing wineries. Steve and Jen were also very responsive hosts, answering all our questions promptly and providing clear instructions for check in/ out. We would highly recommend Barefoot at Broke for a small group getaway - we had an amazing time!

We stayed for just one night and it was exactly what we needed. The place was clean, cozy, and the view was unreal — we spent hours just relaxing and soaking it all in. Super smooth check-in, great host, and a peaceful vibe all around. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommend for an stress-free escape with friends.

Our stay was simply PERFECT. Lynn is a super host, and the property was so well equiped. I stayed there for a much needed girls night, and we were all amazed at how well stocked the house was and how beautifully renovated and clean. And to top it all off a gorgeous enclosed back garden for my fur baby. We will definitely be back 🙌

Our stay at the Redhead Beach House was fantastic. The house itself was well designed, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We were welcomed with a platter and wine waiting for us and everything was well stocked and easy to find. Great selection of board games, table tennis and arcade game meant there was plenty to do when we were at the house. The area was beautiful and quiet. A great beach over the road - both our 11 year old daughter and our dog loved it! Overall, I would highly recommend. Thank you Natalie and Collin for your hospitality.

We loved our stay at your beautiful home - so eclectic, gorgeous gardens, so relaxing with the wrap around verandah and day beds, and the magic bush track down to the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped, and everything so thoughtfully presented … a relaxing home away from home! Our little dog Cliffy absolutely loved his time there too … lots to explore in the fully fenced garden, and he loved his daily beach adventures. Thank you Evelyn & Kerry for making our stay so special. We will definitely be back and stay longer next time.

Lovely bright airy quiet house with a great backyard for pets. Walking distance from shops and the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is the second time I have stayed here and it is a beautiful home for a weekend away for one as a retreat or for a family getaway. Thoroughly enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay at Becker 94. Our Border Collie had come with us and we felt right at home! It was cozy and Maryla was super helpful when we needed anything! She even went above and beyond to mail our house keys back to us after we left them there. Unfortunately we visited in winter so couldn’t take advantage of the amazing pool so we will definitely be back in summer next time! Cannot recommend this place enough for a relaxing weekend.

We were in Maitland for a weekend of sport and Sally's place was an easy 14 minute drive from town - and a welcome escape from the noisy stadium. We were greeted on arrival with warm freshly baked bread and homemade treats, and made to feel right at home. Our dog loved running around and meeting the inquisitive cows and friendly horses along the fence line, and we were warm and cosy inside the cottage - and protected on the sunny verandah on what was a pretty cold and windy long weekend. Thank you Sally for a lovely stay!

We had such a lovely stay – the place was warm and cosy, perfect for a relaxing family retreat. It’s in a quiet bush setting but still super convenient, just a 10-minute drive to Merewether Beach and Hickson Street Lookout. We loved taking our dogs for walks along Merewether Beach and even found a great dog-friendly café nearby – the perfect spot for an early brekkie and sunrise. The lookout was stunning at sunset, though dogs aren’t allowed there, so we left ours in the car for a short while. The cottage has a big wooden table out on the deck, and we really enjoyed having lunch there, listening to the frogs singing while the dogs explored the garden. Such great value for a pet-friendly getaway. Thanks so much, Stewart!

Loved our stay. Warm and inviting, fire stoked for our arrival. A great weekend escape, peaceful….lovely to wander the property checking out all the animals. Our dog had so much fun with Freddy & Wally which was a bonus. Jo was easy to deal with, helpful local recommendations, delicious treats was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

It is an absolute fantastic place. Very peaceful with great views. Feels like heaven on earth. The inside of the house is very clean, spacious and has everything that you would need. Bev is a very nice and friendly host and it was an absolute delight talking to her. My husband and I and also our two dogs loved it so much that we will definitely come back here whenever we can. It was one of the best places that we have been to. From the check in until it was time to leave everything was perfect. We would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone. I guess the the only part that we didn't like was leaving 😞. Many thanks Bev until next time 😊

We loved our stay at Lauren’s place! Beautiful, modern interior, walking distance to Shoal Bay for restaurants, pub, bike hire or to watch the dolphins at sunset. Or for the more intrepid, lots of hiking options right out the back door. The house was so well-equipped we also spent some days enjoying the pool, pizza oven and outdoor entertaining area. Highly recommended!

Had the most beautiful stay at Eamonn's on the river. The place is so sweet & exactly as described and pictured... such a serene escape with beautiful scenery, great amenities & hosts to match. We enjoyed sitting by the lake and outdoor fire place every evening which was stocked with wood and fire lighters to get us on our way. It was my hubby's bday while away & Eamonn went to the extremely kind trouble of baking a scrumptious cake to celebrate which he delivered to us. We also got to mingle with a litter of puppies which was a treat & added bonus : ). Eamonn came to the rescue when my husband has an allergic reaction as well , promptly bringing over some antihistamines early in the morning. Twas a perfect weekend, owed to the place and hosts. Thanks so much for having us and spoiling us!

Rex and Georgie's is a cute and private space with a beautiful garden. We loved how close it was to the beach and the thorough guide handbook. Overall, the space was very clean and tidy. Communication was prompt and polite. A couple of minor points to note: the mini fridge is a little noisy and distracting in the night. The bed linen smelled a little mouldy; we have allergies but it was tolerable.

Lindsay and Pam were lovely hosts. Nothing was too much trouble including help with the fire. Perfect getaway if you are looking for a rustic, quaint weekend country retreat in a home built by Lindsay.

What an amazing Cabin!! Perfect for a quiet getaway and located within reach of numerous Wine tasting options. We will definitely be returning.

We had a great stay in Hawks Nest at Kristina’s place. The accomodation was stunning and perfect for a get away from Sydney. The doggo loved the space to be able run around in the garden. It really was the perfect set up to be able have some home cook nights in and also local to the shops is there was anything we need. Would highly recommend and we will be back for sure.

What a great spot and accommodation! Definitely different but super cool! We stayed with my boyfriend and our dog in this cool barn conversion and it was exactly what we looked and hoped for. Incredible sunset and calmness. Only 30min drive away from hunter valley, and under 10min drive to town. Inside had all you could possibly need and place was perfectly clean and comfortable. Will come back!

Brendon’s place is beautiful! The view is gorgeous and it was such a lovely stay. The fire made the house especially cosy and we loved having brekkie on the deck enjoying the sun. Brendon is also super kind and helpful. Really appreciated his responsiveness and how he ensured we had everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay at this villa in the heart of Pokolbin. The location was perfect — close to wineries, restaurants, and beautiful scenery. The villa was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to vineyard views and seeing kangaroos in the morning was a real treat! The host was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Jeannette’s tiny home was clean, well appointed and beautifully presented. The home was exactly as described. Jeannette is a proactive host who gave clear directions and arrival instructions, she was friendly and provided helpful information about local amenities. Jeannette’s thoughtful personal touches made us feel very welcome. Thank you, Jeannette - we will happily stay with you again!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. The house and surroundings are even better than the photos suggest. The house was clean, spacious and equipped with everything you would need. The surroundings are peaceful and private with lots of sunshine all day through. Will definitely be returning.
