Cabin holiday rentals in Telemark

We spent some nice days at Stian's cabin and received very good guidance from him about what to do in the surroundings. The cabin is located in a beautiful area with lots of hiking trails and nice swimming opportunities. Highly recommend. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the sauna did not reach the desired temperature, but with quick and good communication with Stian, he took the feedback and will fix it eventually. 10/10 😄

Amazing location in the mountains with no neighbors. West facing cabin so you have sun the whole day. The hot tub is a great place to relax. The cabin itself was very cozy with all the modern comforts available - electricity for charging laptops etc. Nothing was missing and lots of firewood to keep the hot tub heated. A hidden jewel is what the place felt like. We will definitely come back😊

Comfortable cabin in quiet surroundings. Great hiking terrain and a short walk to the café and shop. The cabin was well equipped and everything worked flawlessly. A real bonus with an outdoor jacuzzi. We were there in the summer months, but the cabin is probably just as nice in the winter as well.

Shortly before arrival, all useful information came in the guidebook, such as key box, sauna and pool instructions, etc. We got along very well and it was even more beautiful than in the photos! The hosts always responded quickly and very friendly to questions. We will be happy to come back!☺️

We spent a long weekend at Jørn and Line's cabin and absolutely loved it. The cabin is cozy and beautifully situated in a private spot, with no other cabins in sight and a stunning view of the lake. One of the bedrooms offers a breathtaking view, and waking up there feels like a true privilege. The terrace with a hot tub was a highlight - we used it several times after long hikes, and it made our stay even more relaxing. There's also a covered porch that came in handy when it rained, allowing us to still enjoy the outdoors. Jørn and Line are amazing hosts - always responsive, kind, and helpful. As a thoughtful gesture, I even received a custom-engraved welcome badge, which added a lovely personal touch. We had a wonderful time and would happily return!

It is a very beautiful house and it even looks better in real life. It’s on a very nice mountain with a stunning view. Not gonna lie the whirlpool is the highlight of the apartment. If you want live the Norwegian dream for a few days, then this is your house to go for!

We had a great stay at Jane's chalet. Everything was in compliance, the "village" is very pleasant and very safe (set back from the road, very few cars) to walk your dog, or let children play. There are also several nearby and accessible hikes. The accommodation is small but ample and very cozy.

Super lovely stay for my parents from the UK to enjoy their first cabin experience. Large family cabin perfect for families young and old. Great spot to get to explore Rjukan and Telemark. Lovely history and quite a famous family cabin in Hytte magazine! Takk

We are very to have stayed here. So nice to connect to nature and enjoy this cabin house. So cozy with the fireplace and beautiful beams. The area is beautiful near a lake where we went on a little stroll with a wooden boat. Nice!!! Perfect place to read books take a swimm in the lake and hike. The centre of Fyresdal has a nice cafe Hvelvet. Good coffee and cinnamon rolls

After we entered the coordinates from the description, we found the cottage (do not copy the address!) Jan was directly available when we had a problem with the key box. Very good 👍 The house is very cozy, we felt right at home. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and a few groceries are also there for use. The living room is well equipped with blankets and pillows for a cozy evening in front of the fireplace. The beds are cozy and the bathroom is modern and clean. We were very pleased with the underfloor heating! We had a great stay and would love to come back! Thank you Jan 😊

Beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings with a great view of Gaustatoppen Well equipped cottage There is no number on the cabin, so be aware that you have to go down a small side road/driveway on the left Probably because we did not understand the Norwegian text, we had not understood that the 2 key boxes were on a shed / cabin down by the gate to the right side 50 m. from the gate We therefore spent an hour finding the cottage and the key We had some wonderful days in the cottage

We loved our stay here! We want to return. The house has big windows, and you can enjoy the scenery right from the house. I’ll never forget the beautiful sunset & sunrise that we got to enjoy while staying here. This house is so perfect. Thank you Michael for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The cottage was very cozy. The surroundings were peaceful with beautiful nature. We really enjoyed it. The host was very friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything we needed. We had a barbecue and went for a walk along the beautiful river. We highly recommend this little paradise.

We were 9 people (5 adults and 4 children). Kristine's house met all our standards of comfort and elegance, with a magnificent view of the mountains and lake. The location is really nice for nature lovers and children for hiking, tobogganing and skiing. We wanted to discover Norway in all its splendor, and now we have! Kristine is available and will advise you on what to see and do in the area. We 100% approved this house!!!😁

We had an amazing time at Jonar's place. The house is amazing with everything that you need for a cozy stay. Beautiful surroundings and perfectly located to discover all the nature of the area.

We had so much fun in this place. The cabin was cozily furnished and had everything we needed, and more. The outdoor area was completely magical with lots of opportunities for play and fun.

Really charming cabin in the nicest surroundings! It's located on a gravel road, but it was really rare for someone to stop by while we were there. So we could really enjoy the tranquility. The trip there and the whole area was also hugely beautiful. Olav and Bjørg are really friendly and responsive and made sure everything was as it should be. Definitely recommend!

The little cabin is located all alone in the middle of a forest area. It feels like being in the middle of nowhere – exactly what we were looking for. Everything is minimal and rustic. Washing dishes with water from the stream, heating with firewood. No luxury at all (except for the fridge and the sauna 😄). We had a wonderful time. It was so beautiful, and we’ll definitely come back to enjoy the beauty of this nature again. P.S. It’s even moose territory. We saw some during our stay – once by chance, and the other time on a “safari” led by our little daughter… with three hours of waiting. But it was worth it. Simply amazing. We’re really sad we had to leave.
