Waterfront-2/1- Cozy Cottage -Adventure & Romance

MarinaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Our stay at the lakefront cottage was fantastic! The place was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and the sitting areas. But most of all we loved the outdoors. The lake was perfect for paddle-boarding, and there were wonderful trails nearby in the walking distance. Watching beautiful sunsets over the lake made our trip magical. Nico is a gracious host, responsive, genuine, and welcoming. He went out of his way to make sure the kids and I had everything we needed.

Luxe Henniker Hideaway

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay here. It smelled like fresh eucalyptus inside. Mike gifted us homemade banana bread and the most delicious honey fresh from his backyard. The place was spacious, cozy, well decorated with a wide assortment of games. Would stay again in a heartbeat. We walked into Henniker and had a yummy lunch at Daniel’s pub. If trying to get into Manchester via uber, schedule it in advance to ensure you can get a ride.

The Crowcroft House

JoyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Family of four stayed for a week while visiting family. As I think one other review may have said, the description is accurate however the space is much more roomy than the photos would have you believe. Two full bathrooms, a washer and dryer, incredible kitchen, comfortable beds and a serene location all made this location an incredible space but the small, thoughtful touches like hair towels, cotton rounds/swabs/balls in the main bath made our stay exceptional.

Idyllic Peterborough Apt. Above TwinElmFarm

Trish was a fantastic host of a great property! We chose this stay because my mom loves antiques but we all had the best time. Extremely clean and had everything we needed. My mom even said it was her best sleep in years in the big king bed. The location was perfect, a very short drive into town. We definitely will book again if back in town!

Schoolhouse No. 1

Such a gorgeous little place! We stayed because we were in between places at the time, stayed 16 days total. David responded quickly to questions or issues that we had. Only thing I would have liked to see was another lock of sorts on the door, my 2 year old knows how to use door handles(he hasn’t figured out door knobs yet) and tried to escape a few times so another lock that he couldn’t reach would have been great. Otherwise, amazing stay!

Laura and Richard were hands down some of the best hosts I’ve stayed with. Laura was so sweet to me knowing I am going through some personal difficulties and even left me a couple little treats to make me smile. She repeatedly attempted to meet me in person although my schedule didn’t allow it which I regret so much! The apartment has a great view and if you’re into traveling or history you’ll be interested in the books and little trinkets delicately placed around this funky cutely decorated space. The only thing I’d say is the area , geographically is pretty isolated and everything shuts down at 9pm. Don’t expect to find even a gas station open past ten. So just an fyi to fill the tank and load up on snacks! Thanks again Laura and Richard!
