100 years-old Japanese house”MAROYA"

- Enjoy Japanese houses - "Maroya" is a beautiful house built with traditional methods in the Taisho period. The house was vacant for a quarter of a century, but it is currently being rebuilt with the cooperation of volunteers.It is a valuable building where you can feel the history and culture of Enju.We are booking with someone who can use it as a precious to bring it to the next generation.　 You can do simple cooking in the kitchen.You can also cook rice in the kamado stove.Please let us know if you'd like to use it.I am willing to help. There is no screen door.Occasionally, insects will be disturbed.In early summer, fireflies may appear along the nearby waterways. *Rest assured, the manager is on-site even though it is a private rental. * Coffee corner on the premises (sometimes there are exhibits.)is attached to the.There may be people coming in and out near the coffee corner from the gate. * There are a few domestic cats that sometimes come in and out of the house.Cat lovers are welcome. A 222-year-old traditional house in the center of Tsumago-juku is available for rent as a spacious, fully private space!

This is an old house built 221 years ago, located in the center of Tsumago-juku. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely.
