A Simpler Place in Time

Restored 90 year old farm building separate from house overlooking the McPherson Ranges and Mount Barney on a 17 acre farm block with animals. Great place to stay if you are walking Mt Barney, Mt May or Mt Maroon - 40 mins drive north. The cottage can accommodate 3 people using a queen bed and a trundle bed (extra $15/night). The cottage runs on solar power (off the grid); gas cooktop; gas hot water; septic toilet; tank water and wood heater. Dean's shed is overflowing with stories and harness.

Casita Blanca Cottage (Little White Cottage)

A peaceful , romantic and stylish cottage with a great view of the valley . Our third cottage " Casita Blanca " Spanish for little white house, built in 2019 but it has the timeless charm of french antiques and quality furnishings. It's character and location makes the perfect getaway for a couple who appreciate some luxury touches like authentic french antiques and crystal chandeliers. We do have other two properties under the listings "Casita de Campo" and "Casita de Bosque" to choose from.

Davadi Cottage is our dream country escape, we have lovingly restored this old Queenslander into the home that is today brimming with character but with modern conveniences the perfect blend for a charming weekend. Three queen size bedrooms comfortably fits six people, perfect place to spend time with friends and family. The location is just 5 mins walk to the main street which is great for going out at night, no need to take the car!, but only a short drive to all the wineries .

Jacanda Alpaca Farm Stay

Jacanda Alpacas Farmstay is located near the quaint village of Wallangarra , right on the border of QLD and NSW. We are central to the Granite Belt wineries, easy access to Girraween National Park and the historical town of Tenterfield. We are a working farm with a herd of alpacas , miniature donkeys and other farm animals. Enjoy staying in our cottage with picturesque views of the mountains and surrounding farmland . The Upper Cottage at Hidden Creek Winery is located at the top of the property and overlooks the Upper Vineyard. It has two very comfortable bedrooms, kitchenette, indoor dining and wood burning heating stove. It is isolated and its attraction is serenity and solitude. The elevated location with a large front verandah has magnificent views. The verandah has tables, chairs, barbeque and adjacent fire pit and is marvelous for cooking and wine tasting.

Highland Croft Cottage accommodation

The cottage offers you a fully serviced home away from home. The lounge boasts a wood heater with television and dvd player. There is also a BBQ outside with a basket breakfast included in the tariff, plus tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The master bedroom has french doors opening onto the verandah. Both rooms have cosy blankets, doonas and electric blankets. Highchair and cot available on request.
