Lachigolo is a small and peaceful pueblo, about a 15-minute drive from Oaxaca along the Pan American Highway, and around 5 minutes past El Tule. The location makes it a good base for day trips to places like Hierve al Agua, Teotitlan, and Mitla.

On a 2000 meter plot of land we have built two studios with everything you need to spend a couple of wonderful days. Ideal for families and friends, 4 people can comfortably fit in two independent studios, each one with a kitchenette and a beautiful bathroom open to the gardens. We have a wood-burning sauna! In order to occupy it, it is necessary to coordinate in advance. And without a doubt our favorite, the outdoor stone tub, a delight for all senses.

Rebeca’s place was quiet and peaceful. The only warning I would give others is the kitchen had nothing except a stove and sink. So don’t come expecting a refrigerator or any way to cook. Overall we were very happy to stay here for the night.

Buscábamos un lugar que fuera accesible para una persona de la 3era edad y cercano a El Tule y la ruta del mezcal y el estudio de Corina nos quedó perfecto. El lugar está muy bien ubicado, la limpieza impecable y que decir de la hospitalidad de Corina; siempre estuvo al pendiente y dándonos recomendaciones tanto locales como de sustentabilidad. Súper recomendable y sin duda volveríamos.

As much as we enjoy Oaxaca City, we needed a break from the heat, the noise, the crowds. Eire’s place was delightful! Beautifully finished with a great view. San Andres Huayapam is charming, safe and friendly. There are great restaurants. We ate at Luz de Luna and then watched the moon shine over the Oaxaca valley and city from our bed at Bungalow Majahua. It is our goal to walk 10k steps a day which we easily did with quiet streets and butterflies. One recommendation—arrive during the day and have a map for your driver to look at. Ricardo met us and helped our taxi driver which was really helpful. Our cell service didn’t work well but the Bungalow’s wifi worked very well. We were able to take care of remote work, zooms and watch a movie with no problem. We really enjoyed eating breakfast and lunch out but loved eating dinner in the cosy bungalow. The shower was strong with plenty of hot water and painted the most beautiful color of blue green. No problem with mosquitos.

Natalias' place is a home away from home. The place is well maintained and organized. It's exactly like the photos. Kitchen, Bathroom are pristine. The location is walkable to near by stores. It is private, and peaceful. The team are extremely helpful and friendly. They respond quickly to all your questions & requests. Highly recommended to my friends and family. I would totally come back next time.
